What's the best way to clean one of these? Burnt my first wick. Replaced, but still tasting a little burnt.
@NicotineRush, I have never burned a wick in my Nano. @Eskie gave you good advice. You might have damaged your coil and should replace that as well. In reading up on different wires, some corrode more easily than others and probably absorb the burned flavor. Good luck with getting it cleaned up.
Usually the wire will be fine and clean up well. If it's a simple plain round wire, there's nothing wrong with just throwing a new one in. If it's a fancy some kind of Clapton, it can be resurrected without the need to toss it. Mind you, that's Kanthal, SS, and NiCr. No dry burning of Ni or Ti, so if a rinse or soak doesn't fix it, then on to a new coil.
Seriously, it all depends on what type of e-juice, in my case, my favorite e-juice is gunk-prune and I find no way to clean my coil nicely without dry-burnt it, say at about 30watt for a second or two then immediately soak it in warm water to brush away the sticky gunk...
For Clapton coil, I also found blowing at it while it is still hot (by dry-burning) can efficiently remove those tiny black piece which otherwise can't be reached by my brush.
I picked up some 22ga 316L and did a 4 wrap @ .14Ω and dropped it into the Nano, performs great and the flavor is outstanding.
Cosmic_Glaze, without picking up the mod and holding it on it's side I did a syringe test filling it right to the edge of the fill hole, a hair (and just a hair) over 4mls.
When I'm out running around and bring a bottle of liquid with me chances are pretty good I'm not going to do a two and a half pike twist with a double gainer just to fill a tank.
Standing up on a mod gives you 4mls.

So you fill it with the mod on a table and try to shoot the juice in sideways instead of using gravity to work with you?
I just hold the mod in one hand, with the juice opening facing up hold the bottle of juice in the other hand facing down... and done. I really don't see it being difficult. Takes no more time to fill to get an extra mil.
Cosmic, I hear you and my intention is not to argue but when you squeeze that last mil into the tank it fills it beyond the fill hole when it's set back down upright. I'm not saying that anyone is doing it wrong when they fill it on it side but later we'll see a post about the tank leaking because it's been filled beyond the fill port. My only point is this, when filling a tank you should be able to fill it normally to the fill hole and measure the liquid, that would result in 4mls.

I saw that. It is lovely but I might need to play with what I have for the time being. Oh, the Shinyitus is real.
It is hard to resist and I need some new DIY supplies but I have the expensive stuff so the flavorings will be budget friendly.

I finally opened the Rainbow nano. Not sure what I was waiting for. It is beautiful!!!! The photos I have seen don't do it justice - they almost look somewhat pastel but they aren't. This is my new favorite atty just for looks. I took a photo of both sides as they are different. Love at first sight!
