I bought the 2 Goblin Mini V3's on 12/31 with the extensions (that I never used) and these Engines came out a few weeks later and I had to get them because of the top filling, top air inlet, over 5ml capacity and no way to leak.

I need to get rid of some stuff.

ordered mine from 3fvape from China to UK great delivery sent on the 10th Feb received on the 15th Feb.

First impressions, damm it's good ! easy to build and wick, nice smooth vape plenty of vapour and good taste. I would put it a bit better than the AMMIT which I have been using and love, hopefully no leaking or condensation being top air flow. Looking forward to using it every day.

Hey, new to the forum. I just got my Nano yesterday. I'm having some issues. I got great flavor with the coil that came with it, but burnt hits. I've since rebuilt it twice, once with twisted 26ga ss316l, and now with a kanthal Clapton that came with my combo rdta. I'm getting good vapor production, but I lost the flavor. I have redone the cotton like 6 times, and it's wicking well, but I can't get the flavor back. I've been using it on my Smok G320 and my backup kangertech subox mini at just about every watt the coils should take. Airflow wide open, cut down, basically shut off, and the flavor isn't there. I love the RTA, but I know my problem is user error. I unfortunately don't know the error of my ways! Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, Post a pic of your wick and coil on the base here for us to see if we can see something.

I put a new coil on my black one last night and had an interesting experience. I coiled it on my TAB and got a reading of .82 ohms. Once I got it wicked, I popped it on my Cuboid and got a reading of 1.5 ohms. I unscrewed it and pushed the fire button a couple times, then I screwed it back on. This time I got a reading of .89 ohms, so I figured the Cuboid had still been reading my last build, which was ~1.4 ohms. After vaping for about 15 minutes, I went to take a puff and got nothing. The Cuboid was showing "No atomizer found." I removed and replaced the Nano several times, but I couldn't get it to fire again. I tried it on my black Radius and got an OP ohm reading, which is what you get when there's no atomizer attached, rather than the E-whatever (I think it's E1?) that should pop up with a short.

I opened the Nano up and found that I hadn't snipped the coil leg on the positive post close enough (about 1mm sticking out). I got my snips up close to the post and snipped off this excess, then I popped it back on the Cuboid and it worked fine (still is). I'm thinking this little nub was touching the inside of the chimney, but I can't figure out why I didn't get an atomizer short message on either device, rather than a no atomizer message. Weird. o_O In any case, it's something to be aware of. Make sure you snip your coil legs off flush with the posts, due to their proximity to one side of the chimney. ;)

.

Maybe try lowering the coil some. Try that first and see what happens.

I've been shooting for the middle lately

What ricks said, coil looks quite a bit too high.

Got mine this morning, DTL person, so AFC is wide open. Thin whispy vape, not what I expected. Tried multiple builds up to 70 watts. Problem for me = indirect airflow from back hole, plugged with a silicon plug good dense vape, also improved flavor a fair bit. Didn't lose that much air flow. Fairly loud turbulent air flow also quieted and smoothed out.

Started out MTL as many do, so tried that, personally I found it intolerable with that back hole open, lots of heat even with suitable build @ lower power, heavy TH. Closed off indirect, big improvement, smoother draw, better flavor.

Everyone has personal preference, if you don't like it as it is try closing off the rear air hole.

I saw that about closing off the back hole... I have to try that someday just for the heck of it. It's like trying all kinds of wire and wick. Trying to find the best vape out of a new tank.

I lowered it a bit, it seems a bit better. I'm confused because the first build had great flavor but the wicking was bad. (Couldn't hit more than 3 times before burnt hit) Now I'm getting the wicking right, but the flavor is pretty non existent. (I can pretty much chain vape if I want, but it tastes like nothing really) Sounds like maybe I just need to keep trying to tweak it?

Its possible to get sufficient flow to keep dry hits from happening, yet still choke your coil a bit. Low saturation will definitely reduce flavor, thin your wick a bit more give that a shot. Also take note of where your coil should be in regards to the inner chamber air hole. I like to keep mine so the lower half of the coil is presented to the Air hole, works best for me. Keep it in that area for more direct air, and experiment with a little less wick @ the point they meet the deck/holes.

So far my builds have been fairly light on the cotton partially in the holes and wicking is doing well.

The burnt hit could be too much cotton, but now no more burnt hits but no flavor o_O it's strange. Yes I think keep trying to tweak it. What brand of cotton are you using?
