I'm not really digging the Nano, the Single Coil is not producing the same flavor i'm getting from the regular with dual's. It's not bad, and not as finicky to wick then the regular engine. But I dunno, just gonna shelf it for now...

NOW the Regular Engine...OMG!!!

Flavor Explosion!

What kind of coil are you using? Try a juggernaut or fused clapton.

I think they just really f***ed up with the flavour guys.
Sorry to say that but I bought one with my hardearned money and tried and tried with it, no, something is wrong.
The wick holes are just not big enough to catch-up with the massively opened airfholes on the chimney if I were to guess.
And, blocking the back hole doesn't help at all! By doing that you only make things worse.

My suggestion is not to buy this tank, If you don't like airy vape.

I run mine with the airflow halfway closed, semi-restricted, consistently good performance over several weeks. I do wick with rayon, might just be dumb luck but I've had zero dry hits, nor any flooding. I run 0.5 ohms, 2.5mm ID, coil lined up between the post holes, relatively low power (24W usually).

For me, flavor and overall impressions have been completely positive. I place it above the Ammit (which is also quite good - I can see why any given person may prefer it to the Nano), and its fill method makes it even better than the Avocado 24 for me (I'm a huge fan of that RDTA).

That's the cool thing about vaping -- a lot of really good gear is available these days, though any individual may prefer one item over another.

How many different size coils have you tried? I started with 3mm and went up over 4mm and had great flavor. Another member here suggested a 2mm coil and I've been using that size ever since. It makes even more flavor. These are the best flavor making tanks I have ever used!!!

I never had any issues with dry hits, flooding however, is a different story. Too much cotton under the deck and it will wick too fast and spit juice all in your mouth. Nice fluffy tail barely in the juice reservoir is all that's needed.

Also, if you do not poke little vacuum holes in the wick holes I can see how it would dry hit...

Single strand SS 316L, It's all I run period. I guess I should try the coil that came with it, give it another day it court.

That's my usual go to as well. But on the dual Engine, I found simple Claptons really upped its game.

Now I'm wondering if I'm not better off just getting the Mini. I want the 23 mm, and I guess I can just build it out with a larger single coil and split the wick if the top air pattern will be better than the top side on the Nano. My thanks to all for confusing my even more.;)

I'm running 2, non-spaced, 3mm id, 9 wraps each on the mini...Flavor is on freakin point....best flavor tank i've owned.

I'll agree with that. The Dual Coil Engine I prefer for sure. Nano isn't bad or anything. The Dual Coil for sure is my preference out of the two

I'm vaping on a gold Engine right now. It's my everyday carry setup. Dual fused claptons. I do switch between my revenant/engine and my R150/crius plus.

I haven't had wicking or flooding problems but the flavor on this tank isn't quite as good as the Merlin was.
isn't it a shame to have to make such tough choices between 2 great tanks. the only reprieve I can see is more mods to run them on.

Good call on the fused Clapton, dropped one in tonight and it did help flavor wise, still not as good as duals but way better than it was with single strand...
