For me it must have been pure dumb luck (I'll take that any day [emoji3] ) that my stock build is a 2.5ID spaced 5 wrap twisted 26 kanthal, so I've had great flavor all along. I ventured out to the ss316l once, but honestly, as a watts vaper, the standard kanthal build works well for me.

I made my own fused claptons 3.5mm wicked with rayon mounted in the center of posts. I've haven't had any problems with vapor or flavor. o_O
I keep saying that I'm going to make fused claptons and I still haven't done it. I bought a few of those swivel things and extra wire too.

How did you make yours Heartsdelight?

The only difference I find with using SS wire is that the coils comes in at lower ohms. I'm using it in watts only. I'm also still experimenting with TC.

    Somewhere between here and there
I spoke too soon on the mini. I am getting great flavor but pulled it out of my drawer at lunch and there was a bit of liquid leaked out on the towel that I keep under my mods at work. It was leaking out of the airflow holes on top since it was on it's side. I wonder if I overfilled it or something.

These can leak if kept on their side. Don't do that... LoL

That's easier said than done. I have to stealth vape at work and keep my mods in a desk drawer. They won't stand up in there. I have had zero leaking with the nano and until I rebuilt the mini, had no leaking. I was thinking that maybe I got over aggressive in filling it.

It'll probably be more annoying but could you keep the tank separate from the mod...maybe stand it up in an old prescription bottle and put it in your desk?

Thanks for the idea. I wrapped the mod and tank in a towel and put it back in the drawer after lunch. No more leaking. I'm going to go with the overfilling theory for now. I'll see if I have any more issues.

What mod are you using it on? Maybe it will stand up in the drawer on a Nugget.

What about closing the air control?
