@Buckeyevapen

(If your thinking predator go alien 220. I've had mine for 6 months and outside of getting one of the early models with the chipping paint it's fantastic. And me personally I don't care about the paint. I like that it looks "used".

I've been reading this thread as I research my first rta. The OBS Nano is way up the leader board.)

I personally like the looks of the Predator. Still lovin my Nano's too.

Some time ago I bought one of their theorem atomizers. I hated it. Used it once and put it away.
The Theorem split tank glass like there was no tomorrow until you changed the o-rings for smaller sized ones. The metal sleeve was glued onto the glass with a water soluble glue, and came off after the first rinse under running water. You also couldn't fill the damn thing without an eye dropper.

Co designed by Matt from SMM? He must have contributed to the name or o-ring colors...

Like what? Just curious...
They've had problems with the 510 connector including the predator. My son had an RX200 and an RX 2/3 he got for his wife. He had to take both of them back.
There are so many nice mods out there now. In my opinion why waste money on something that might or might not work.

Hoping the Joyetech eVic Primo Mini has no issues... just ordered recently.

I agree but I had no idea about the problems when I ordered the predator. I won't order a second one unless they correct the problem.

How many people had this problem??? I don't think too many... If I didn't find the eVic Primo mini I still would have gotten the Predator.

Given there have been users complaining, and more importantly reviewers who had this happen to them (and you figure they'd get shipped the working stuff) it pretty clear it's a manufacturing design problem. It's not like a poorly primed surface for paint. I hope it doesn't happen to everyone, but I would sure be leery about placing any tension on that connector with a tank attached. That right there would be a no go to me because if I toss it in my pocket, there's bound to be some lateral sheer force applied no matter how carefully I walked, and I'd hate to have the tank pop off with the negative threads still stuck on in my pocket.

I've heard nothing but good about the Predator...
I haven't heard any good things... What have you heard? All I've heard about it is misfires and shoddy 510 that falls out.

I was going to get one to test out arctic fox but it seems the mod's still in the beta testing phase... well... paid beta testing phase, that's a thing apparently.

It makes me wonder though... with all the crap joyetech has taken over the years for their janky 510's, why do they keep doing it? Hoe can it be an accident when it happens on every. single. mod.? When they release a new mod, it's like clockwork, after a few weeks of it being out in the wild, the complaints about the 510 start rolling in. It is inevitable.

Even on their brand new ones, the new primo and the predator, both had issues with the 510, why risk that? Even if it increases the cost I'd make damn sure the 510 was solid. now they done f'd up & there's people like me who won't touch joyetech/wismec/eleaf with a 10 foot pole bc of it.

I have had ZERO problems with all my Joyetech mods... Sigelei mods are the ones I stay away from. Everyone of them had problems within a few months.

Won't this be an interesting mod. Dual 20700 from iJoy, at least they are including batteries with it. IJOY Captain PD270 234W Dual 20700 BOX MOD

The Captain, a Personalized design, with a unique experience... :D

I have had a cuboid 150 for several months and had no problems with it. I also have an evic mini and a mini vtwo and no problems with those two. I'm not necessarily loyal to joyetech. I just buy mods that I like the features of. I guess I should do more research before buying.
