LoL, I love everything about these... I'm sure you'll like them too
So far I like what I see. Huge capacity but not a skyscraper. I have been looking for a large diameter atty for my VT75 that is single coil. I have reduced my atty lineup to include my KF MINI V3's for when I feel like MTL,my KFV5's for DTL and my Lemo2. I really like them all for different reasons. Its amazing how certain flavors taste different in different tanks. Not better or worse really; just different. I usually have at least 5 or 6 different setups rolling at the same time.I like switching flavors frequently. I am sure this atty will probably knock my Lemo out of the lineup if for no other reason, ease of filling.:)

I noticed in your picture that your leg is not under the grub screw, goes up along the threads.
I see the same on my Nanos. My question is, does it make a difference? Anything to be concerned with?
The legs are fine. They are both under the screws. Just towards one side. It is impossible for them to be on the sides of the screws. Everything is good here... Get one and try it!

Dang, it only took me 11 pages to order this one. Sounds like I'm really going to like this one.

Why so long?:D

The Engine series is really fantastic. OBS has done a superb job on these. I'm also still appreciating my Crius+ from them. I still prefer the Engine.

Funny but I recently received a couple of the Cthulhu MTL's and am very happy with them. Once again, I said to myself 'that's it you're done' - your collection is complete.

Then of course you guys lure me in again with promises of Nirvana in the form of an atty :):):)

Seriously, I really like what I see in this NANO.

You have to try it and see for yourself. It needs more power but so far it seems to be working great. I need more time with these to see if it's better than single strand wire.

How do you make yours? Do you space your coil? I always found that spaced coils work better for flavor. I tried my coils squeezed tight but I never got enough flavor out of them.

I wrap my coils on a machine screw, they are not tight, but evenly spaced.
I couldn't do spaced without a crutch. Actually, my lovely coil & wick assistant couldn't.
With the proper size machine screw, she's done quickly and every coil is alike.

I've always been a single wire guy, partly inertia, partly I because I understand spitback happens more with twisted. I don't have that problem with my single wire. Since I've never tried though, who's to say it is a problem?

Might have to twist some up this weekend.

I've had two since they were available.

Thanks for the thread! I have one on the way to me from china and will show up in about a week and am excidingly reading about your experiences untill recieving mine to play with. I'm looking for an alternative nice single-coil RTA to rival my merlin for a nice lightly restricted DL experience at 25'ish watts with regular round-wire. I have currently retired my dual-coil RTAs/RDAs for the smaller juice-consumption and battery-life of single-coil RTAs, and missed the OBS engine as didn't got to order it back when was into duals, so this just rocks to me :)
