Ok. I just assumed otherwise as you said 100w mod in your other post. The Smok Alien would give you fantastic battery life.

I asked for 100 watts just in case I ever decide to try it out. I figured 100 watts was a nice threshold for me. I currently use an 80 watt mod but I've never gone above 50 watts. I ordered a Therion DNA 166 earlier today but I'm gonna check out that Smok Alien. Thanks!

Just got the Nano, when they say Gold they must be referring to Rose Gold...lol.

So far impressive, with a single fused clapton coil it hits pretty hard.

You'll most likely be happier with the Therion, but on the other hand the Smok Alien isn't expensive ;-)

Thank god. Finally got a decent setup. 2.5 mm 9 wraps .51 ohm basic spaced SS coil running in temp mode 25 watts at 420 deg. Raised the coil to the hieght of the higher hole. Fluffed up the tails on the wicks and cut them to just barely sit in the holes.

Failed attempts I think we're all wicking related. To much. Not enough. To far into the holes. Touching the base. Etc.

Hopefully it holds up hiting this nice.

So I took the big Clapton out of the Nano, replacing it with an simple 3mm 8 wrap 24g SS316L coil. I centered the coil between the holes and left the legs a little longer than normal. This brought the coil closer to the edge of the deck and main air hole. I am getting a much better vape with more flavor than before. It's really too bad that OBS didn't give us the option to close off the back air hole, I think it would really improve the flavor.

Running it on the VT75 with the UD SS316L V4 (Hotter) wire profile at 50W/480F.
I just wrapped one of mine with UD 24g SS316L, 8 spaced wraps x 2.5mmID, 0.36ohms. Mounted it centered horizontally between the post holes, and vertically positioned over the front lobe of the wick holes. Running it on the eVic Primo w/standard SS316 TC, 460F @ 40W. It's the bingo build for me, so far. Sweet as heck, and I'm not even getting close to the temp ceiling. I may have to look into your wire profile; maybe I can set it up manually.

Great to hear it's a good build for you!
If the Primo has a TFR option then you could enter the values manually. Once the ArcticFox firmware is available for the Primo, you will be able to load the CSV wire profiles just like on a DNA device.

Broke my first Nano. It's an o-ring in the bottom of the chimney that we can't replace. It was sticking out a bit so I pulled it out, so now the deck going to flood if I fill it to max. Just bought a second one.. And the chimney is spinning without any resistance now. :( Gonna post a picture later.
You Should be able to fix it

Had to give it another go with my Engines. My iJoy Exo crapped out on me yesterday. For the first time my Nano is performing very well. Slapped in a .50 Ohms SS316L Clapton 26/30 with a 2.5mm ID. Using TC at 420F. Thinned out the cotton leads very well and put them in the holes just enough that I see the cotton. Doesn't touch the base or anything.

Brought my Engine Dual with me today and did the same build of 2 coils hitting .24 Ohms. Thinned out the cotton leads nice.

Both Engines are working very well right now.

So basically all it's been for me is the wicking which is most likely the issue for anyone else. All I did was fluff the cotton before. This time I thinned them out and it's all good

the wick was in the juice in grandmas lantern not hanging above it. that's the way I see it.
Right... It makes total sense... I can see that these are being held and moving around but even with my Gennies, I always had the wick all the way to the bottom. I just don't see why they say to keep it off the bottom in some videos...
