Right... It makes total sense... I can see that these are being held and moving around but even with my Gennies, I always had the wick all the way to the bottom. I just don't see why they say to keep it off the bottom in some videos...

Doesn't matter to me one bit. As long as it Vapes well and I'm not getting dry hits I don't care. [emoji1360][emoji3]

If wick touches bottom, there is a bigger chance to get dry hits, not sure why, but that happened to me twice.

But you vape thin liquid. It's really no different than today's RDTAs. If you place thm in the holes not touching the bottom, they stay saturated because of the tilt when you take a pull
I feel that having the wicks touch the bottom is just a better chance to stay wet. I understand about the tilt also.

Yeah I don't get it either. Won't the wick always stay saturated by touching the bottom? That way it's in direct contact with the liquid all the time. I've only wicked it twice and both of them weren't touching the bottom so I can't speak from experience :/

When the wick touches the bottom of the deck, there is the possibility of too much density in the juice holes. Cotton expands when wet so you have a greater chance to choke off the juice flow when your wick goes to the bottom.
