This coil works best in my nano (3.5mm flat fused clapton 0.27 ohm)

Seems to me that most reviews that I've seen say that it's not really a mtl. Who else is mtl with it?
It's definitely not designed as mtl tank, at best it's a restricted lung hit. you can shut the AFC ring, but as the flaw with all AFC rings, it only works to a small degree, if you close it too much you screw with the velocity of the air hitting the coil and get anemic vape/unpleasant TH.

I assume if you don't mind that it can be done but with the Nano it's already pretty airy inside the chamber.

For kicks I went to 39W on the SDNA, to match a fresh battery on a mech. Flavor awesome and dense vapor.

Here's the Nano on my TW 18650M Odyssey. It does overhang a bit but looks nice and vapes great [emoji5]

I've got some pricier mechs, but the 18650M hits the sweet spot for combined performance (low internal resistance, can handle lots of amps) and looks, IMO.

Yep, that's my point. Rick pulls it off though.

Rayon wick trimmed fairly short, thinned about 50%

Wet it down and do some firing to get rid of the initial wick off taste

Airflow closed 50%, 24w.

This has been consistently excellent for me [emoji3]
I just put your build in my nano, only I went 6/5 wrap instead of 5/4. I wicked it with Viskose and it's running quite nicely at 35W/450F with the airflow closed by half as well.

I can get used to the vape from it for the time being. I reminds me of the vape from the VG Kronos, but with better air.

Just put some Rayon in my 2. Breaking it in now. They have a little funky taste at first but it's just about gone after about 10 hits on each so far.
The oddball taste right at first is normal. I'll wet a new wick and pulse it, several times, so my first real draw tends to be good.

You can get rid of the rayon taste by breaking in in TC mode. Set TC to 380 so the wick won't burn, then drip directly on the coil, drip, pulse, drip, pulse, drip, pulse etc. until the juice spreads out into the entire wick. When you fill and vape it there shouldn't be any taste left from the rayon.

I'm liking the Rayon so far. I had to use it mostly because I think I got some crappy Japanese cotton pads. The flavor is great at first then it fades and becomes real bad. Guess my wife and daughter can use the crap load of pads for make up removal. I'll see how this Rayon lasts for now. Tasting great so far...
