My Ammit is an excellent single coil RTA. I have the EXO and Goblin Mini V3 both configured for single coil and working perfect as well. The GMV3 works much better in a dual coil setup, but it is totally vapeable in single coil mode with it's reduced airflow.
Is it possible there is a defect some of us are dealing with. Just seems like some are having wicking issues and some are saying no matter how they wick it It's great!!!!

The neat thing about the gear coming out recently is lots of good choices. I used the Ammit for several weeks before the Nano, consistently good results, but I prefer the Nano. It turns out that the coils I built for the Avocado 24 work well in all the tanks and RDAs that are of interest to me.
I have only used my 2 GMV3's in single coil. Great flavor but I wish they were more restricting in the air department.
I was really disappointed with the flavor from this when I got it. Tried several different builds, my go to 3mm Stainless multi-wire build of some sort, small 2mm like suggested and it just wasn't as there for me. Gave it another go last night and finally got it to produce enough flavor to keep from being tossed into n the drawer. So, 3.5 mm(bigger the better) 316l alien 7 wraps spaced. Wicked with rayon, tight through the coil, thinned and trimmed more than any tank I have, barely touching the holes. I positioned the coil REALLY high so the air comes under instead of over, and REALLY far away from the posts. It has thick and flavorful vapor now, not as good as my serpent minis, mage gta, Fuji-son, Merlin mini, or the alto, but it is good now. Ohms out at at .35 and I vape it around 40W
I'm in love with mine. I got a second I loved it so much. Silver and gold Nanos. I wick mine with Cotton Bacon V2 nice and fluffy but full just a little past the wick ports you can barely see the cotton coming through on the bottom. I use either Alien, Stapled staggered fused Clapton or fused Claptons at anywhere between .4 and .6 ohms and the flavor is AMAZING! My ID is always 3mm and I found that having the coil set even just a hair above the tallest post hole lines the coil up exactly with the airflow holes. I measured to find where to sit my Coils. I like to vape the Nanos on my Tesla Threes since it's chipset reads resistance then fires at the sweet spot every time.

just got mine, loving it so far, no leaks, very easy to build, using the premade coil from the box, quite flavorful.
Though for some reason the post holes arent staggered in mine. security code check at OBS website said it's authentic though.

It appears that some have the holes this way. From what I'm hearing they still work the same.
yeah, not a big deal by any means, just "different" from what I see on sites and youtube reviews. Still super easy to build.
Agreed. Remember the hysteria a year ago with people convinced we wouldn't be getting anything new after 8/8. Lol!
There has been zero slow down and dare I say the amount of new gear has increased.
Options are great.
As I see it the reason for that is the people at customs have no idea what gear is new and what isn't.This may or may not change but I saw the same thing in the coral industry where banned pieces of certain species, or places of origin would routinely make it through.This did eventually change however.Thank goodness.
