After a few weeks of using two other tanks that seep and flood, I've returned to the Engine Nano. I wrapped a new 24 gauge SS316 coil with an inner diameter of 3.5mm that came out at .46 ohms, put the rayon tails on top of the juice wells and it's vaping nicely. Flavor is muted but I'm hoping that's just a break-in thing. At least it's not flooding like before!

I'm not giving up on my other tanks just yet but it's nice to have a problem-free vape experience with the Engine Nano.

The longer the muting the tighter you have it in the coils. Shouldn't last too long.

I have a 3.5mm ID coil in the EXO RTA and I used the same amount of rayon. The flavor isn't bad by any means but it's not as strong.
Did you trim your wick ends? I have 3.5mm i.d. coils too & I think I trimmed about 1/2 the wicks off at an angled up towards the coils.

It's most likely all in your head...if there is a noticeable difference, could just be the way this thing wicks, a 2mm coil much more forgiving bc you just stuff the wick down...

Bigger coils than that you're going to need to do like I do and trim it down or lay it on top rather than put it through.

Tbh the 2mm coil would be a better idea on a different tank, this thing has so much dispersed and wasted air, you want as much of it to hit your coil as possible. If your set on the 2mm coil, try plugging up that back hole.

I remember some pages back where some said the flavor was better at 2mm or 2.5mm. How does the flavor of a 2mm coil compare to the wider coils you've tried?
It is better at 2mm for me but I want to try larger again for Experimental purposes.

Well I've been using all 3 engines in steady rotation. Alternating builds etc...

I'm happiest with the mini, dual coils, 3 mm I'd, 10 wraps each of SS316L 24 awg, halfway up the post = .21 ohms at 55 watts...

And for the record, I always pulse my SS coils to make sure they are heating evenly. I have stopped dry burning them to clean them when I rewick and just change them...

My vaping experience is better then it's ever been [emoji41]
