I've been smoking analogs here and there as I'm in the transition to vaping. I need to get rid of the smokes and I figure it'd make it easier. Since I've started vaping when I smoke (and I smoke Newports) it feels like I'm smoking a light, almost no feeling of smoke, as if I'm inhaling air, and also I exhale almost no smoke, sometimes none. I am taking the same drags I normally do. Can anyone explain why this is happening?

it may just be the model that you are using. when i first started i had a really weak (not too mention over priced GRRRR!) one and it didn't give the sensation of "smoking" much at all. but now i either vape my bloog Maxxfusion or smokeless image VOLT and i get a lot of throat hit and TONS of vapor. try switching up brands or getting into a version where you can fill them up with your own juice. it's probably just a combo of what PV you're using and finding what flavor/strength juice you're vaping. don't get frustrated, it took me almost six months to find my vaping sweet spot :)

I bet that nothing has changed with your analogs, but that you are now used to the heavier vapor.

Well vapor is heavier...smoke floats up...and vapor will fall down... if you watch it :) ...also my best advice...do not play the mental game of which tastes better/feels better...analogs will win...as that is what you are used to..addicted to...and what your body is craving! if you can when you run out of cigs just resist the urge and anxiety and do not buy another pack...just keep vaping and one day will turn into 2 then into 3 etc....that's how I made the switch with my 3rd attempt doing just that....

also most who tell you they like vaping more then smoking...are at least a month out...

some make the switch easily while others can battle back and forth for months even years! just be proud of every analog you avoid...because an analog avoided...is an analog avoided!!! keep up the good work!!!

I tapered pretty fast from a full PAD. One thing I found really useful was a notch higher strength eliquid for the couple of craving points, like first thing on waking up, after a meal, etc. Those couple of points I used the higher strength, and vaped heavier (more drags in one session, spaced closer, similar to smoking). It actually got to be a hassle finishing that last pack -- I knew vaping was working for me, but darned if I wasn't going to finish that pack since I paid for it :)

At least for me, my body detoxed from the other stuff in regular cigs fairly quickly, it wasn't too bad not having the MAOIs, CO (contributes to the "rush" -- you are getting CO which is picked up easier than O2), or freebase nicotine (contributes to a faster nicotine uptake).

Always consider the cigs not smoked, rather than sweating the few you still do.
