Here's what is really funny - for the nearly 2 years that I've been vaping, I vaped just like I smoked - mouth to lung.

Since switching over to the Odin I have become a lung hit only guy.

That's why it's hard if not impossible to go back (to small attys) for me. I got used to big air and the ensuing thick vapor the airy duals and unflavored nic base in mostly VG produce :)

I did the same. I've been vaping about 3 1/2 years, and always vaped 'mouth to lung', even on my genisis RBAs. It wasn't until I got into dripping, about a year ago, that I went to exclusively lung. I've had to go back and open up the air holes on all the top caps I previously thought were fine with MTL.

You are driving me crazy here lol. I want a Chalice BUT don't really want the extra or enlarged hole........what-to-do....what-to-do.....I know that if I don't snag it...someone will very soon......

The extra hole did very little to it. But if uncertain I would pass. :)

SupX them some mighty big words.....lol
I have been holding off because I use RxW and the only deep well atty that I can get working with RxW is the Origen and a vertical coil. What is your opinion on the use of RxW on the Odin?

I have the Odin and have been running RxW with great success. I build slanted coils and dip one long tail into the well. This is an old build but you get the idea. Lately I've been running dual twisted with the 3mm RxW with the same slant. The chamber is actually pretty small and you don't have to do an overly aggressive squonk to fill the chamber.

Although you can do a single coil, it really shines when running dual coil lung hits which result in fat tasty clouds.:vapor::)

It can be built with one but to maximize its potential duals are required :)
I was lucky enough to get in on Mark Bugs last sale. When take into acount the cost of the original and paypal fees for this sale he's taking a loss at the asking price.

I don't know if that helps or makes it harder :p

Especially when one factors in 6 extra screws. The the first ones I bought from
Mark between runs and shipping alone was something like $25. Totaled out at like $56 for 6 of them :)

But the extra airhole and minor very light scratches are why I decided to sell it at a loss even though it's a polished V2 cap. Don't see a lot of those :) and the second air hole did very little to open it up. It's a Z coil atty so now air hits the center coil from both sides.

Look at it here on a woodvil :)

I know exactly what you mean. I have been able to go back though. I've found that if I start off the day doing mouth to lung hits, I can do it all morning and into the afternoon. Then sometime after like 2pm I start feeling like I need more and switch reos so I can do lung hits. I love mouth to lung because I get really great flavor out of my juice. I can get the same flavor out of my lung hits but it's a lot harder. At least with the atties I've been using. We'll see how the Odin does. It's supposed to be delivered today.

later,
Ken

What were the details on the coil in this picture set?

Not many people use the same wire I do. That one was dual 12 wrap 26g nichrome 80, 1/16th ID, thin RxW, 2mm. Wrapped with the Gizmo using the small mandrel that comes out to 1/16th.

You could probably get the same results with 10 wraps 26g kanthal A1.

Ohms out to ~.5ohm.
