I bought an Odin from the last batch & really do like it. It squonks very well, plentiful juice & then back down the drain just as fast. Also its build quality is top-notch, a very good match for the indestructible REO grand. -- I do have a couple of wishes too, so I rub my Odin hoping for a magical Norse-woman genie to appear. .(if she does, I'll forget all about my atty related wishes).

1. Turning air flow on & off could be easier. I don't adjust airflow a lot but like to turn it off, close it, before putting it in pocket. Lots of times when I turn it, the atty spins too. I do lightly coat o-ring with liquid which helps and the Odin is cranked down pretty tight on Rob's largest o-ring, so it's solidly in place. A slightly thinner o-ring on atty could be the answer, I'll look for one to try. -- Before Odin, I was using tube mod + Quasar & Quasar's top cap design spoiled me in this respect, AFC opens & closes easily.

2. Is the deep well necessary for bottom feeding? I'd like to have coils + AFC closer to deck. . Over squonking with such a deep well can get messy.

3. There's not really a #3, but the genie insists. So I wish for Loki Lab to design an atty specifically for bottom feeding.. Perhaps it doesn't have to be 22 mm, could be a lil smaller yet still support dual & single coil builds like it does now.

All wishes aside, I do love the Odin! Clouds, flavorful clouds. .

Octa, I hear ya.

When I wish to close off the AFC, I simply pull the top cap off and re-install.

One of the things that I like about the Loki Lab RDAs is that the top caps are tight fitting. My Omega is the same way. With regard to the Odin, I think that the tight fitting cap helps with any potential leakage issues from a loose fitting cap.

With regard to the depth of the juice well, my KGD wick tails just touch the bottom of the well. This affords for a quick, efficient, and clean method of juicing up the wicks. Any extra juice will find a quick retreat.

It great to read that you are enjoying the Odin, as well.

Thanks eratik. Taking cap on & off gets a little messy for me. Maybe my coils could stand to be a little further in, not quite as close to air holes. Then wick wouldn't hug the atty walls. KGD I haven't tried yet but am hoping to soon if air mail allows, still using organic cotton balls which I imagine is messier than KGD.

Yep, I guess it's better that cap is tight, haven't had any leakage in that respect.

Thanks. So we just PM him on FB? Is he here someplace? Username? :)
He makes up a small batch of buttons and lists them on FB then you post which one you want and they are first come first serve basis. You got to check FB regularly because once he shows a batch they get snatched up :)

......PM for email addy

His button covers are anywhere between $10 and $22. He charges $5 for shipping no matter how many you want. Kinda sucks when you only want 1, but works out when you want 3-4.

Dual, 7 wrap spaced, 1/16th ID, of 27g R41, wicked with RxW. It comes out to .43 ohms total. I couldn't be happier, it's got the vapor production and the flavor I was looking for. hopefully this build will last me a few months without needing to rewick or recoil.

Hey SeaNap... any advantage in having such a long wick? Just wondering because I ordered 6" of 2mm & 3mm RxW and I read the ENTIRE Readywick thread... haven't gotten it yet, but looks like other people cut it pretty short. Just gathering as much info/advice as I can before I try it.

And so... I really didn't think it was possible... didn't think it could happen to me... but I fell in love with a 22mm atty. The Odin!
I almost put it on the classies before I even built it because it looked so enormous on my mini, and my button cover didn't fit. But I thought I better give it a try... dual coil, 7 wraps each of 28g, about .53 ohms, and WOW. For me, the flavor in some of my juices is less intense... some juices I like better in the Odin & some are better in the Reactor or RM2 or RM3. But the vape quality is so amazing... dense and plentiful. And I love being able to change the airflow so easily. And, I just sanded down the sides of my button cover so it fits now.
Seriously, this thing has not left my TRA mini since I've gotten it. Thanks for all the info and everyone's input on here!
Now... my DREAM atty would be... a 20mm Odin with a domed chamber... someone make it happen!

No real advantage for keeping the wick long in the Odin, it just has such a deep juice well that I keep them long to fill up the wells a little bit I may end up laying the RxW on a bed of rayon. For the rm2 I keep them real short.

Just rebuilt my Odin for the 3rd time as my coils were getting a little tired and the atty needed a good cleaning. I decided to try out some 26ga kanthal I got in last week. 2 micro coils. 6 wraps each on a 1/16 drill bit, wicked with KGD. Metered at 0.4ohms. Coils are placed parallel and level with the air slots and maybe 1-2mm back from the air slots.

The 26ga is really easy to work with. It's sturdy and not springy at all.

Filled my Reo with 18mg Nicoticket Virus that I mixed down to 6mg with VG.

Flavor and vapor is just stellar. Warm, dense, delicious. The best vape I've had so far. I seriously love this atty on my new Reo.
