I got mine in today as well and put in dual 28ga 1/16 1ohm coils that were pre-built and waiting. .5ohm on the nose and both coils fire at the same time. Wicked with RxW and all is well.

It is a smooth drawing atty and by far the best large atty I have ever tried. I can actually get flavor from it and massive clouds if I direct lung hit.

It was very easy to build on and set-up. I haven't even fiddled with coil height. Just put it in front of the air hole angled down so the RxW would wick.

Nice job Craig!

Any chance you could post a picture or you coil and wick setup? I've got some RxW here I've been wanting to try but I've been scratching my head on how to position the coil and wick. I can't drape it out of each end of the coil down into the juice well like I do with cotton. I see a lot of people use a really short wick with the RxW on a RM2 but I think I'll need some sort of wick tail because the Odin has that deep juice well.

Thanks! Looks easy enough.

Since I had the coils made it just took about 10 minutes to have it out of the box, washed and vaping. I kept the coil above the edge like in the SxD video and when they were both tight I used my drill bit and positioned it like you see then inserted the wick.

I too love a warmer vape. I usually run 26awg with 5 wraps around a 3/64th drill bit (I think). It makes a .35+/- and a nice warm vape for dual coils. I also don't recommend high nic juice, it might knock you on your .....

Im not sure what the rating is for the low ohm builds on a Reo but I do know I get a lot of micro archs ay the button/battery. Probably a good sign to build higher. Lol

There are a few that are getting arcing with the REO's. It seems to happen at .4Ω and below. There has been a few that are arcing even around 1Ω with the VTC's... Something about the composition Sony made the +/- poles out of.... There are more instances from the VTC's than any other battery though. I use the LG HE2's and have been vaping in the lower .42-.45Ω and I haven't experienced any arcing at all. I will add I never experienced any with my Panasonic CGR's either. Guess I've been lucky.

Arcing is just a part of mechanicals, all mechanicals, it happens when opening the connection. After a while it creates mini pits and oxidation, both of which exasperates the arching. It's not so much the battery per se, as it is the contact. you may want to sand the pos contact and use noalox. My vtc5s don't arc once I clean up the connection. If your getting arcing in the atty then there is a loose screw or a tail creating a short somewhere.

I got my Router drip tip over at Steam Monkey http://www.steammonkey.com/Loki_Labs_Router_Bit_Drip_Tip_p/l-rtrdt.htm

So how do you know when it's 'arcing'? And I need to ask. Say you build a .5 coil. Is there any chance it'd change to .4 or .3 all by itself? If so, why would it do this? I don't really have any desire to build anything under about .6 or .7 ohms but I don't want it slipping downward into dangerous territory. :)

On a mech the arc is at the pos connection of the batt and the firing pin, and it only happens when you break the connection. This is expected to some extent but if it gets visible then you need to clean up the contacts with a file and use some noalox. If you have arcing anywhere else it's really bad, it means something is short circuiting.

In the first case it has no effect on the resistance of your coil (technically the more oxidation on your contacts actually increases the resistance of your mod), in the latter if you have a short in the atty then you are short circuiting the batt which is bad. The REO with upgraded contacts has no problem going down to .3.

Pull the door, in a dark room press the fire button do you see little sparks, this is arcing. As said all contacts will arc right before the contact is made electricity will jump the gap. I don't see it on mine but I know it's there. I run 1 ohm or slightly lower and use VTC4, VTC5, LG, AW batteries. But I also use Deoxit gold contact shield.
