Anyone that knows my ongoing feud with the postal service will recall that I live in the same state as Bruce. For some ungodly reason, the USPS finds it necessary to route my packages from Bruce through the darkest regions of south Alabama before bringing it back to Florida for deliver.

All that to say I got mine today and OMG, it is a beuty! I am still fighting with making my first usable coil but oh what craftsmanship and beuty this piece has in it! I'm sure I will get the feel for the coils but until I get my eyes operated on the first of the year, I am working a bit blindfolded!

I know I say it a lot but I still am constantly amazed at the mind of Imeo. Maybe it's due to my lack of mechanical abilities but when I see a piece like the Odysseus and how he has taken ideas and implemented them into reality and a functional piece of art, I continue to be amazed.

Thank you Imeo my friend! You spoil us with your creativity!

It vapes like a beast. My first coil I tried the nextel and it was too big to sit in the grooves completely flush (the ring that goes around the rebuildable atomizer sliced right through it), but it did fit in the top no problem. I don't know if I'm not used to this resistance wire or the wick that was included but I'm getting an odd soapy taste. I did rinse the Ody before I put everything together (without any soap) so I'm pretty sure it's coming from the consumables.

Tomorrow night I'm going to unbraid some nextel and twist it together to make a thinner nextell wick, I'll also go back to using my kanthal resistance wire that I'm used to using in my iatty. I don't think there's actual soap on anything, I think it's how my juice is tasting with this wick/wire combo.

Assembly was easy, the innards are like the iatty on steroids, everything is either SS or ceramic - it looks pretty indestructible (both the pieces and assembled Ody).

Performance is great so far, very impressed with the Ody. On a side note, one little design element that some may overlook that really speaks volumes about Imeo's attention to detail:

If you've used the iatty and ever adjusted juice on the fly by opening the top cap and fiddling w/ the juice control, you'll know that sometimes you may open it a bit too much and end up pulling the cone right off and making a mess of things. W/ the Ody you adjust the juice control by twisting the mouthpeice. While that alone is ingenious, Imeo also made the dimensions of the mouthpiece in a way that would allow you to open the juice control all the way to the limit, but not far enough for it to become unscrewed from the base (and thus flood the atty).

Just very well though out design.

And did I mention it vapes like a beast?

Wow that sucks seems like USPS has been having a lot of problems lately. I am still waiting for some batterys I ordered 2 weeks ago. They were held up in customs for over a week and were finally sent to me last week on Tuesday but still arent here. I have recieved 3 shippments from COV 2 shipped same day (last Tuesday) and one shipped Friday and 3 other packages send last Thursday but still no batterys.

Sorry to here about bad USPS deliveries. I have had great luck, even though I am about as far away from Bruce as you can get in the CONUS.

I got my Ody yesterday, and my second today. My first attempt at a coil was a bust. I tried to make in the 3-3.5 ohm range. Well I started over and made one at 2.5 ohms. Vaping well right now.

Now I have to wait for the mailman to bring my stealth.
