Hello Imeo,

i´am a big fan from germany. i vapor since 3 weeks and i was to late for the ody preorder.
i have a stealth, is a wonderful device but what is a stealth without a ody ?
it´s the same with Man without woman ;-)

Do you plan to produce more odys ?

In germany, there is a run of gg. I am registered in a large german forum with 15,000 users and many ask "i need a ody"

Landed the kit from preorder, can't wait to get it. I am actually looking forward to trying out the 510 in Ody, got some HV and VHV attys waiting for it, will be sweet to tape at 7.4-8v with a tank finally! Today made my best coil so far, two wicks overlapping at the coil, 3ohm at 5.4v giving out heavy clouds here :D Too bad my Stealth is still lost in Royal Mail, been that way for over a month now and I have to use my inferior mods with the Ody, aesthetically very unpleasing.

vapor is warmer because the wire is more close to your mouth BP:)

Gee whizz, I must be the only wierdo in the place! Throat scrape/hit is hard on me. Even at 2.6ohms with 3.8-4.2 my throat stays raw. I am intent on making a 2.8ohm coil later today.

Of course I could just be developing an intolerance for PG. I have noticed that Bruce's Organic VG Butterscotch doesn't tear my throat up a fraction as bad as my daily vape does.

Heck when I do drip, since I am closer to the coil, I use a 3.0ohm Joye. The temparature is not my goal - All I want is the heavy, juicy flavor and nic hit to keep me happy. Part of that is due to the smokeless tobacco being the hardest for me to quit.

I quit analogs with my first 808 first week of February last year. It took til the first week of March for me to be able to lay off the smokeless. That stuff is almost like injecting a drug versus snorting it. :(

I swear I must be the only one waiting for the drip mode. Thats what I look forward to.

yea I'll be looking forward to trying it out at home....the only thing for me is when I'm out at work, it's not practical for me being that I'm a transit driver- time constraints only give me a short window to vape now and then, so I'll have it loaded up in any size tank version most of the time.....

aye Para....thats an understatement....I get looks from passerby's and comments said about it all the time, a lot due to the 'uninformed public' lol....once in a while there are a few that know what it is and ask about it, and I gladly tell them and my reccomendations for those that want to try it.... I've actually had a police officer try to arrest me thinking i had a crack pipe one morning, vaping outside the bus before starting a run...I had to take it down just so he understood it wasnt... I havent had a problem since... but then all of that is nothing compared to the everyday stuff that goes on constantly downtown that has nothing to do with vaping :p

Awesome....and I cannot imagine it being better than the Iatty. I cannot imagine anything vaping better than the Iatty.

Para, just happened to read older posts on this thread.. How was it to compare to iAtty? :toast: I just can't relate much to the older GG products, as my SSGGTS and my Ody are the first ones I had.. Guess I should feel lucky haven't spent $$ on the first ones, but it wasn't in my savings acct neither (wonder where it went:facepalm:)

Hey Six, my Iatty is still in use right along w/Odyss. Only difference IMO, is Odyss has no plastic, larger ceramic making it much easier to install wick and coil. Odyss is much easier to control the juice flow for everyone. I have no issues myself with that on Iatty but alot of people did. Kinda like the UFS - you have to dial it in. Where as the Ody, just turn the mouthpiece. Odyss also has a variety of modes. Iatty did not. It could only be used as bought or put inside a UFS. Odyss. is a triumph for Imeo.

Note - as of right now, I still would not give up my Iatty - thats how great it vapes, plus I need it for one of my TS's.

I also have both.... I may like the ody more, and with the new add-ons coming, it'll be modular like putting an iatty inside the ufs (i currently dont own one)...but, I do like my iatty too...it's sitting on my GGTS, whereas my ody sits on one of my stealths... and as Dspin said, it vapes very good :) mine's currently set up for 7.4v vaping and the only way I'd give it up is IF I get an extra ody or z-atty-g (another modular rebuildable atty for the GGTS n stealth) to replace it, which I do not see happening any time soon...

Epic Journey
The best vaping experience at 3,7 volts for me that I am a heavy vaper is 1,5 ohm with a 0,13 wire. To my opinion all the other wires just work but not like 0,13

I'd like to try that... You definitely have me convinced that using higher resistance thinner wire at 3.7V provides a better feel. The two wires I've had the chance to experiment with so far at 1.5 ohm are Kanthal A1-32awg (0.20 mm) and the ODY 0.15mm wire. I find that the ODY wire reacts and heats up faster, even with a 1.7 ohm coil I used for a while. I know you mentioned this a few times but I couldn't quite understand what you were saying until I had the chance to try it. I'll definitely give the 0.13mm wire a shot... Thanks.

I use them both, each is very capable of a great vape.
Personally as far I as vaping goes the they are close to the same, not exactly the same but close.
The iAtty has a little better TH, IMO.
The Ody has a little better flavor. Comparing the two is oddly difficult since the are similar but completely different, like family or brothers.

The iAtty was ground breaking in design. The Odysseus is amazing just in capabilities, not to mention design.
The Odysseus is being put through the paces at the moment, but the iAtty is definitely being used daily as well. The iAtty is a very good atty, but at the moment I'm rooting for the Odysseus, and its not disappointing me.

It's an Iatty x 10 (to me). The Iatty was the best buildable atomizer I'd ever vaped and I've vaped and built just about every one out there. The Odysseus is better (didn't think that was possible) in every aspect. The parts are bigger and easier to work with and the design itself makes installing the coil easier. Both produce massive amounts of vapor and flavor, but the Odysseus outperforms the Iatty AND has configuration flexibility we are about to enjoy. I hope we get a mouthpiece option down the road. I like delrin tips and having one where we can use our favorite on the Odysseus would be great.

Comparing the Iatty to the Odysseus is like comparing sex. The 2nd best I ever had was incredible. lol

Just wondering, i tried a 0.25 wire today and it 'crackles' alot more, occasionally I feel like a little splurt on my tongue. What could be happening? I've check and it isn't flooded.

Side note I've also tried copper wires for the NR wires, the ones I got from my hardware store were a pain to work with. I had to carefully scraped a layer of some sort clear coat insulation off them. Cause if i didnt, in my first built with them, it was registering 2k ohms! I didn't realise it till an electrical friend told me most copper wires were chemically treated and if it has a somewhat glossy finish, it's coated. Bare copper would be quite dull and if left open to the environment, it oxidises and turn black?

2x Very Good Reasons Not To Use Copper Wire for your NR Wire.
