I'll buy your Ody - Repent and hold it till end of yr with no use - selling it back to you if you wish. I'd like to get a few feet of the Nextel too.

Hey everybody.....

I haven't been able to read the forums here for a few weeks due to a family situation.

I'm going to be listing (some of) my GG stuff on the classy's unless there are family members that want to buy them. I know there were several "regulars" that missed out on stuff. I'll be selling for my cost, plus of course PP fees and shipping. I had stated earlier that I didn't believe in jacking prices because of supply and demand. Of course I know that is how the world rolls but even though I really need the money, that's not how I roll. Nuff said on that. We beat that horse deader than dead.

If possible, maybe those folks that missed out will be in a position to get what they have been looking for. Just seems right to me to let them have first whack at the sales. Everyone here knows who missed out first on what so as a family let's do the right thing here.

I'll be selling a complete Ody, an iAtty, a UFS, a SS Stealth and a Brass Stealth. Most have spare parts and I'll be selling them as units. In other words, I won't sell the spare parts by themselves. Everything is in excellent condition. Possibly very minor scratches on the end caps from sitting on my desk but they can be buffed/polished out. There are no deep scratches and nothing was ever dropped.

The situation here dictates that I make this move. I am keeping my SSGGTS, a UFS, and the review Ody I got from Imeo. If the situation further dictates, I may have to sell my SSGGTS and UFS but the Ody will have to be returned to Bruce.

I'll post what comes with what probably tomorrow or Thursday.

PS, I have @24' of kiln prepped XC-116. It was done exactly to the specs given. That will have to go as well but ONLY to a CONUS addy.

Thanks all,

Chris aka Repent

I truly hate to hear Chris. :( As others have said and I can attest to from personal experience, life will seemingly allow you to cruise along and out of nowhere comes a kick to the cajones. No humor intended with that remark as I frankly am just thankful each day I wake up and consider it a gift of bonus time.

You will be in my prayers my friend. If there is ever anything I have that you need, for God's sake, don't be bashful. If I have and you need it, it's yours. I hear reports of this one and that of being listed as "day to day" but in the factual analysis, we are all day to day. It's how we handle the days we are granted that marks us.

I couldn't have said it better myself +1

Good morning folks;

Thank you all for the kind words here and the PM's I've received. Opened up my inbox this morning and had quite a few PM's to read. :)

Thank you also for the mentions of your prayers. Today being Ash Wednesday, I'll be going to soup supper and church after work this evening. We Lutherans do love our pot lucks. ;)

I believe I've had offers on all the equipment so I'll be PMing with replies back this evening after I get back. I don't want to string anyone along so I'll respond back to those offers I promise!!

But not to worry folks, GOD IS GOOD. If you are of the praying type, pray only that God be Glorified in my situation. I have been given untold blessings over the years and haven't deserved a single one. Your PM's of care and concern are yet another blessing I don't deserve.

I'm kind of a big picture guy. It's all good. I can see some things coming down the pike and am doing a preemptive strike against them. Not a "vision" in any sense, but when things start to stack up in a certain way I take heed.

Blessings all.

I probably should explain since you want it to go to someone who doesn't have one. This would be for Uriquidezj. He recently had to sell what little stuff he had because of eye ulcer and no insurance. He has been wanting a TS and Odys. So if you sell it to me, don't want it by yrs end or don't want me to hold it - it will be for him after he gets back from his Honeymoon - going to get married this Saturday.

That is reason for offering - to help you out and to help UR out. Whatever you decide to do witht the stuff if fine with me and I hope everything works out for you. The Lord always has a plan for each of us. D

Repent, sorry for your situation. I will tell you from experience though that God doesn't give us more than we can stand, but with His help, not alone.
16 years ago my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer, my boss who I loved very much was fired, and I started to report to the tyrant that fired him. I felt my whole life turned to brown.

Our kids were little and my wife got fed up with my depressed state so she took the kids to the mall on a Sunday in August. I stayed home and contemplated ending it all as I did not see a way out.

I sat down on the kitchen table and a yellow pad and decided to list all of the bad stuff that had ever happened to me. My thought was if I could somehow remember the bad stuff, maybe having survived all of the previous stuff could give me the strength to go on. I wrote a long list of bad stuff. As I was studying it, all of the sudden, I realized that one of those bad things from my past all of the sudden turned into a great blessing years later. Then I saw another and another. I then took out another sheet of yellow paper and put it next to the other one with the bad stuff. I then started to really look at all of the bad stuff and suddenly the sky opened up and I understood that every single one of those bad things eventually turned out to my benefit. All except for my mother who was dying. That my friend is when I found God and He took care of my last worry.

What I'm saying is that we must thank God always, but most especially for our problems because it's only during the tough times that we learn to trust and rely on Him.

Repent, I tell you this from the bottom of my heart bud, hang in there because Spring always comes. God allows bad times in our life to make us better

Torque;

There is much truth in what you have shared with us all. I got back from Ash Wednesday service a little while ago. My Pastor's sermon was on Matthew 7:24-27;

24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

Christ is my Rock and Redeemer, the Chief Cornerstone. All things will work out for my good and His Glory.

I don't normally remove my New Jersey tough guy fascade but for some reason, it came out. Maybe we are all afraid to be found out that we're all just scared little kids deep down. Afraid of life, afraid of death, afraid of poverty, illness, addictions,,,
Life's burdens are way too difficult to carry by ourselves

I've often thought that I'm not particularly afraid of death (I've seen a lot of it) because I know that my life here is but a mist (James 4:14), I'm here for a short time and then gone. I'm afraid of the process though. A long term illness, such as cancer (sending love to you for the loss of your mother). I'm afraid that I would not be a good and faithful witness to the Lord and in my act of dying I would not bring Him the Glory He deserves.

My deepest desire is that when I die and I am taken into the presence of Christ that I would hear the words of "Well done my good and faithful servant. Come, enter into the joy of your Master!"

I can look back on my life at the wretched things I've done, the hurtful things I've said and the misery I've caused others. I would not save me. Not for a second. I would have called me the louse that I am and wiped me off the face of the earth. I'm so glad I'm not in charge of anything.

God is merciful, yes. But He is also Holy, Righteous, and a Just Judge. Either you will take the punishment for your sins or Christ's attoining death will be credited to you through Repentance and Faith. If I had not repented of my sins and placed my faith in Christ, as you would if you had a parachute in your hands and had to jump from an airplane that was going down. You would put the parachute on and check, then double check to make sure it was on tight and secure. When jumping from a plane you cannot just believe the parachute will save you, you must put it on and have faith that it will save you.

Torque, you'll never know, this side of Heaven, but that those trials were given to you to bring you into a closer relationship with Him.

Anyway, I know this is not a religious thread so I'll end it here out of love and respect for my family members who are not Christian. I would like to add though, that if you're not Christian, but have heard such things as becoming a Christian will solve all your problems, make you rich, a big house, beautiful wife and perfect kids, don't believe that for a second. Jesus Himself promised those who would follow Him temptation, trials, and tribulation. He also promised that those who were faithful to Him would receive the Crown of Life and would reign with Him in His kingdom (Revelation 2:10).

PS;

Now you all know where my handle comes from.

I feel for you, Repent, and I am sorry for any bad situation you have been put into. This is not me trying to be rude or disrespectful, but not everyone here is a believer, and probably not everyone is a Christian either, so I would ask you all to lower the level of preaching. This is anyhow not a religious forum, and pages with bible quotes does not belong here.

I am sorry if you feel bashed, but I ask to be speared of this. I hope I haven't offended anyone.

I would like you to not compare GG series with any other mod because its far away from any other device. I am not a regular maker, I am not a salesman, I didnt produce GG series to make money, I just like my work and I like to see people happy. But making some money too isnt bad at all. I still have a family to feed.

I could be the richest man in the world but I am not. I could sell thousands of pieces quick and nice. But every GG batch was between 300-1000 pieces. Not enough for the market. The reason is that if you want to make something really crazy you have to spend time to think and time to produce. So GG will never be made in large quantities.

By your outstanding quality you created a demand you don´t satisfy, Imeo. By now your deliveries here remind me much more at feeding lions than regular business. Everything is gone in a breath and ... I can still here them roar and struggle.

You want to have your fun. I understand. Responsibility is no compellent part. But ... I hope you are trying to increase your quantities drastically. To me ... it doesn´t seem to be that bad idea ... to turn your quantities to 3.000 - 10.000 a batch. In first step.

You can have your fun this way too! Even more! And taking the money you need would turn much more people lucky than you seem to think. There is no one else to create this outstanding peaces of art if you don´t. Your fun, your fame, your mission. Drastically enlarge quantities, please!

Thank you for breathing and have a nice day!

Cumulus

Cumulus,

Imeo cannot do the quantities you would like to see and still be able to keep up with the high standards of quality he has with every product he creates. To be quite blunt, it is his high quality standards and innovation that everyone enjoys about GG products.

Agreed and Imeos products would not be in high demand at all if the quality was not there. It took me forever to get my first GGTS. I have bought more and alot of other things that Imeo made - ONLY, because of the quality product he puts out.

If I may add, those who see what I have in my signature - required much patience, loss of a lot of sleep since I work midnights and most times go on sale when I'm suppose to be sleeping or working at my second job. Also had to endure hyper bad attitude and tension headaches while attempting to get all this stuff. It is not fun by any stretch of the imagination, but worth it to me in the end. There - now I've said it.

Thank you for answering. There is no need to describe the outstanding quality of Imeo´s construction. In this country we got up to two Million vapors - who know it now. And this is the problem itself.

If Imeo can´t enlarge his quantities in Greece why not turn to foreign countries? Right here ... for example ... you can easily find more than enough capacity to produce as much tank- and feed systems as you like in any quality you may determine. And Greece ... for development. I don´t believe this is the problem.

Much easier to imagine, Imeo likes the game it is. Is it so incomprehensible that some of the customers aren´t so much deligthted by consequences? And the demand just started to increase.

You seem to be suggesting that Imeo is moving at a slow pace, when in fact he's moving at an alarmingly amazing speed.
Considering the UFS was introduced about a year ago, the iAtty followed soon after, now the Odysseus, that's unheard of speed.

I also think you have to consider the fact that Imeo is an inventor/artist/innovator, he can't sit on an idea for very long before it HAS to be made. If he is anything like me, creativity is a constant non stop thing, idea after idea, each one generating 10 other ideas, which then do the same. Don't get me wrong... I wouldn't change a thing in how it works for me :) Nor would I want Imeo to change ;)

We all have to remember we are along for the ride, enjoy it, it's a good one. Imeo, appreciates us, and he shows it regularly (he listens to ALL of our ideas.) If we make him do too much, it makes it less of a passion... more of a job, and that's when the world will lose out. (Remember Imeo, assembles ALL of these HIMSELF! The children aren't old enough yet  )

I get frustrated too, (it shows in my recent post ) it's part of life.

Please don't be offended by my comment as many vapers, new and experienced don't grasp it either. That has nothing to do with ones intelligence level but it is an understanding that only come from spending time daily around the man and his fans to "get a feel" for the direction Imeo has chosen.

This is no game to him - It is life! Imeo is driven to create, refine the creation and create again. You simply can't do that on a mass production schedule. If you tried, the UFS which is nearly a year old now as mentioned, would still be expanding production lines to satisfy demand. And Imeo? He would be like a lion that wanted to be free to roam the wilds of the limitless mind and create, refine and create some more.

The GG series isn't about quantities - It's about Imeo making enough to fund the next creation his mind has given birth to. That is why it is said each GG piece has a bit of Imeo in it literally. When he is working on a project, he gives his whole self to it, completes it, critiques it, ships it and by his own words, even as it ships, is preparing for the next iteration of it.

As a user of the GG line, it is sort of like taking a roller coaster to work instead of a commuter train. The roller coaster is not for everyone and certainly not for every day life. The commuter trains move large numbers of peoples in the same fashion from point A to point B and back every day. It is a safe and stable if not boring way to ride each day.

For the adventurous, that know Imeo will only make a few hundred of anything, there is the highs of scoring a device they know will be limited and the lows of missing a pre-order knowing you may never get to experience that chapter in the evolution of the GG. But we die hard GG fans not only know that, we accept it.

For if it were any other way, it would be too much like the commuter train - Slow, stable and boring. For me and others like me, I'll take the roller coster realizing that for every exhilerating high, there are bound to be heart in your throat lows. That's the only way one can experience the GG evolution fully. ;)

And to prove my words are true, look how similar Rick and I have responded Cumulus. Our posts separated by 4 minutes yet both saying essentially the same thing.

As they say in court, I rest my case! :)

Cumulus being a fellow Greek like Imeo I once asked him in a PM why doesn't he start producing the GG line in other countries too in order to increase production. He told me that that's not what his intention is for GG, he does not want it to become a mass produced product much like other Chinese e-cigs. Frankly I see his point, GG is unique in the field of innovation, quality as well as custom built. What you must understand is that this is Imeo's baby, his creation with much love and care and personal sacrifice. Whatever he's done till now has enjoyed incredible success. It's like asking Picasso to mass produce his artwork, it just would not work. But despite what we may say Imeo and Imeo alone will pave the future of the GG line and I for one fully trust his judgement.
Steve

I share your valuation of UFS´s potential. For a decade (at least) in mass production it might turn to a symbol of the high-class e-cigarette itself. And exactly this would be my wish. Beeing sold in quantities like joyetechs - it could feed Imeo´s family for generations.

No doubt left my wish will turn true as fairy tails commonly do. The comprehensible picture of Imeo´s personality you painted, eliminated any false hope. Don´t get me wrong. If someone out there in Greece is lucky, living in a kind of flow, is consistent with himself ... that´s great. Although I might have preferred a mass production of high-end e-cigarettes that up to now unfortunately doesn´t exist.

All the best to Imeo and I guess a couple of his friends here who answered my posts

Cumulus

Imeo is maintaining his current and past customers need for spare parts. Producing new steel and brass upgrade parts for at least half a dozen devices, most of them discontinued.
And producing the SS GGTS, Stealth, and Ody, plus another new idea which he mentioned.
Plus he takes time to socialize with his GG forum, and answers tons of questions all the time.
He could do a lot of things, he seems to like doing what he wants to do just fine.

That´s what I believe. But it´s hard to wait for the copies. It´s lasting so long. And the results of this process ... the simplifications of Imeos complex and elaborated constructions will be ... staggering. Even to Imeo. I simply can´t get rid of my dream to see him managing it (mass production!) himself.

(My german companion on board told me the same as some did before. Just the German way. Simple, without dispensable humour but adding resulting assignment of behaviour. Thanks for that. )

:)

This subject is like beating a dead horse. Asked and answered many times. If a person feels they can't get one when they go up new for sale, then haunt the classifieds on this forum and others. I recently bought a GGTS from classies.

If one wants a copy right away - go buy a Galileo, quite a similar copy. Best to check forum threads on it as people have trouble with it firing. It's a copy IMO, but can't stand next to a GGTS.

I'm glad the GG line is not mass produced. Would be like buying one of 100,000 car brand. Cross your fingers and hope there is nothing wrong with it. Then worry about recalls, etc, etc.

If it wouldn´t be that far ... I´d love to beat your dead horses whenever you´d like, @dspin. All the best to @repent!

So all your questions and remarks had been answered. Now you want to throw down the gauntlet - well I'm not picking it up. This forum is for the benefit of GG users and used by ladies and gentlemen. Why not re-think your attitude and join us all in advancing and helping others with useful information and kindness.
