Ok, everything there sounds solid. Are you using stock r wire? Maybe try it on a different mod? Sometimes when I try to use drip mode on my provari, depending on how far the center post reaches, airflow is severely limited and it doesn't perform very well. Pics of your coil would also be helpful so we can all help trouble shoot it for you :D

Don't know if this will help but when I first started making Ody coils I watched Imeo's and Scott's videos step by step when making them. I started out making the mistake of putting both ends of the wire in the channels (like iAtty1) and didn't do the right thing w/ leaving 2nd wire out. They only came out good when I watched the videos and did it along w/ them a few x's. Not a fast learner here but the videos did help a great deal.

does anyone have a clue why this happens :
i recently made a new coil for my ody in shortmode ... 0.2mm kanthal wire, wick doubled in the ceramic ...
and it burned 2 or 3 days after, the no resistance wire in the ceramic!
so i redid the wire yesterday ... and today it burned again! again the positive no resistance wire in the ceramic ...
does anyone have a clue ?

and :

i dont have a lot of problems with the long mode, but cant a satifying solution to the dripping problem
did it as always, was dripping a drop every second.
out of curiosity i screwed on the short mouth piece and refilled again : no dripping, no problems
so it HAS to be the mouthpiece of the longmode. i dont want to put an o-ring between the nut and the mouthpiece, swimming in the liquid ... is there a better way ? (putting the wire around the nut for almost 360° didnt work either, putting it around the wick without putting it on the nut didnt work as well ... )

Torch ur Ceramic cup till it glows red. that should kill the flavour.

Boiling the rest of the parts in hot water works well too.

Be REALLY careful when you torch the ceramic! They'll stay hot for a lot longer than you'd expect! Take my word for it...burns aren't fun

No need to take your word for it. I work in a food grade tank wash facility. I deal with 180+ degree water every day. Part of the cycle is a caustic wash. 195 degree hot water wash for 15 minutes inside a stainless steel tank will kill just about anything. My mind should have jumped straight to hot water when I asked how to clean my Ody... What can I say, I try to leave work at work on my days off.

Hey you mentioned that you sometimes get issues with your Ody in drip mode on your Provari. Is drip mode any better than a good dripping atty as far as flavor goes? I've not tried any high end dripping atties so I was thinking of saving some cash and getting the parts for drip mode. Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks,
D

Ok, so I just pre-ordered the ODY on COV's site. I'm super excited. Now I'm just wondering where's the best place to get the wick and wire I need? I'm in the US by the way. Also, I've watched a lot of video's on how to make coil but is there a consensus on the best way? Should I be doubleing up my wick? Thanks for the help guys.

The dripper Ody works vary well. I find that I get much more flavor and vapor from the Ody dripper. Just my opinion..
