I don't know, am I here the only one, who is watching the Odysseus videos with a little bit salt between the teeth?
I bought in September the GGTS SS and the new vamping experience with the air control ring was like heaven.
I bought in October the then new UFS V2, put the now useless GGTS head into the drawer and went all thru the hell of a beginners problems with liquid control, without any instruction manual.
And now in November there is a friendly note "Hey guys, the liquid control problem is over. You just have to spend some XXX Euros more."
Was this not already known in October???

I understand what you are saying but I have to say the Odysseus and UFS are 2 completely different animals. If you want a good tank system that will work with most any store bought 510 atty or carto then the UFS is for you. If you want a tank system that allows you build your own coils then the Odysseus Stage 1 is for you and if you want a tank system that will do both then Odysseus Stage 2 is for you.
They both have their advantages and disadvantages. UFS will work with GGTS and air controll out of the box. Odysseus will require adapters it looks like (unless I am missing something). But Odysseus will work with most 510 devices where UFS needs an adapter to work on other 510 devices. UFS will be slightly shorter for the capacity then Odysseus but Odysseus allows you to use the materials of your choice for the coil and wick and even set the ohm you want.
The Odysseus is not even in the same ballpark as the UFS. That is like comparing Apples to Potatoes. The UFS is designed to use China atomizers only and the UFS basic design has been around for quite a few months. The iAtty was initially announce in April of this year and the Odysseus was announced at the end of October. Also please note the the Odysseus is the second generation of the iAtty.
The Odysseus is a Rebuildable atomizer. Which imeo has taken the time (at the request of GG users) to also make it compatible with china atties, make it so it can fit in the UFS itself, can be used as a dripping only atty and can also be expanded on for future innovations.
The collection tank that originally came with your GGTS is not useless as it can still be used in a smaller configuration with whatever atomizer you like to use. That being said, leaving it in a drawer unused is a users choice.
Instruction manual? Actually, there is one and it can be found here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/gg/186053-ggts-avs-ufs-user-manual.html along with other very valuable resources located in this forum such as Illustrations, Instructional Videos made not only by Imeo but by other UFS users. You also have a tremendous amount of Users in this forum who are more than willing to assist anyone who comes here asking for help. If you are having a problem with any aspect of Imeo's devices, all you have to do is ask and we will help.
One final note, all of Imeo's Mods and Tanks are advertised as ".... an advanced user device"

Isn't this the case with anything though? There's always something newer/improved on the horizon. It doesn't detract from what you've already purchased. The release of a new item doesn't make an older one function any worse.
The pro photography world is the same - I shelled out $1500 for a lens not so long ago, and less than a month later I hear from the rumormill that a Mark II version may be in development. Doesn't make my Mark I any worse - its still stunning - but I'll admit that in the back of my brain I'm screaming "NOOOOO!!!!!".
There's always the classifieds... If you really have to have the latest and greatest, buy it, and help to fund it by selling your older item for a small discount on the classies. I'll bet someone will snatch up that UFS2. (That's what I do with lenses too actually - and probably will if Canon ever releases the 35L MKII.) Or don't - if you're totally happy with the UFS2, and it satisfies everything you need why bother?

I know the differences between UFS and Odysseus (I have already two Bulli A2-T). The point is, that in october a non-perfect fluid control by quite big tank bottom plate is sold, and now I see in the videos a quite perfect looking cone liquid control.
I can only hope, that these mouth peace cones (plus base thread?) will become available also for the UFS.
(Don't get me wrong. I just had a wonderful weekend with the best bottom fed system of the world. But there is now something better available.)

tbh I know where you are coming from, though think about it, could you of just created the ideas, for no money, out of thin air, in October?
This is the cutting edge of the vaping world and if you want to be there, you have to pay. God knows the overal costs.
As I said I have felt like you before, though it is I believe as I just said and I can't help but want the best.
Andrea, thank you very much for your kind words. But UFS has a perfect liquid control system. But it was made for China atomizers. Now we have an even better liquid control but it works only on my rebuildable atomizer. You cant use this control inside UFS.
If you put Odysseus inside UFS you will still have the same liquid control as you had with china atomizers. Nothing changed for UFS

Imeo it may be to early since you aren't sure exactly what is going to come with the Odysseus but mit might be getting close to the time to make a Odysseus sticky like you did with the iAtty with the specs and videos all in 1 post. Just a thought.
