so the resistence is really just the exposed part of the resistance wire?
lol ok i prolly have about a .5 ohm coil then, cuz i measure our 1.5" of my stuff which should equal around 1.4 ohms and prolly about half of that is covered up with the silver. lol
cant take to long a hit or i get some burnt taste, ill mess with it more tomorrow.

Yes - exposed R-Wire is the resistance.
Perhaps...??? as you stated 0.5ohm.

Bare in mind - though you may be able to wind a coil or wind up with a coil @ 0.5ohm it is not safe.

0.8ohms should be the lowest you should "safely" use a coil @ 3.7 volts.

Thank you IMEO for making these pieces of art. You have saved me from going back to those smelly stinkys. I was having real problems finding something that could match a dripping atti without the hassle of dripping every two minutes. In my opinion the odysseus and penelope far exceed the performance of a dripping atti. By the way I was so impressed with my odyssues i got myself THREE penelopes. Are you going to send your resellers any more new ceramics for the odysseus I just managed to break my ceramic the other day and the Uk reseller sold out within 10 min on friday so my odysseus is now redundant untill I can get a new one

The metal taste is probably just the wire and im sorry to say you gonna have to vape it until its gone but it doesnt last long, btw i cleaned my ody and penelope by taking all apart and boiled, after that i put soap in the hot waterand with a toothbrush cleaned everything (i also took the ceramicout on both and nuts etc).

I also had bad taste even after cleaning my Ody, I tried a diffirent coil still no change the bad taste was still there so I took the wick and prior to making my next coil I burned it until it glowed 2 or 3 times also I heated the resistance wire until it glowed let everything cool then made my coil. That did the trick for me no bad taste at all.
