I have Kanthal A1 32g ready as well as some xc-116 but I've never used non-resistance wire. Which specific NR wire should I purchase?

The silver does seem the best, for the past 3 months I've only used the bare nickel no resistance wire on the COV site though, with good results--

Which difference in performance would I notice with one vs. the other? Also, will Odysseus come with some nickel NR wire to try or should I go ahead and purchase something now to be ready for it?

Only imeo can say what will come
E with it but iatty came with a meter of each nr and r wire and wick. Silver wire is supposed to be 0 resistance while nickel has some resistance not a lot but some people prefer silver for this reason.

I cannot recall for sure, but I measured the Nickel wire's resistance and I think it was somewhere around 0.83 ohm/ft.

Well I am still gonna grab an Odysseus but wont get to try coil building til after the first of the year. They are making me wait on my eye's getting fixed due to having a mild stroke. Ah well, it will seem like a piece of cake to do them when they do get fixed since I know I wont wait til the first of the year to try buildong a few!

The reason I first switched to .999 pure silver and recommended others do the same was two fold.

1. It is the best conductor of electricity unless you use pure gold.

And

2. A friend and fellow GG user had an allergy to nickel and upon further research I found that some people who,are not allergic to nickel can become allergic with repeated exposure.

Those along with the fact that pure silver is also a fairly powerful anti-microbial (keeps the juice in the tank free of microbes hat might or might not get us sick) and using pure silver NR conductor wires was a no brainer. After some testing time, I posted my results and the rest is history .

hi all,

kind of new to GG products. recently bought the GG Stealth and the UFS2, which i absolutely love. also bought the 3 additional components to make it into a full GGTS, but imagine my surprise when I realized that I actually only needed the telescopic tube (for larger batteries) and frankly, didn't need the top cap or full connector piece to use with USF2. Felt like I wasted $100 on the "full connector w/ control tank" piece. On a side note, i also bought the atomizer extender thinking i could use 510 atty in full mode with my own drip tip only to also realize that's not what the extender is for, since it looks like it's made just for the GG mouthpiece?? Grrrr, another $20 (well, unless i can use it the UFS mouthpiece)...

anyways, long story short, i'm also interested in buying the Odysseus, especially for the rebuildable atty concept. looking at Imeo's videos, the inside of the GG connector piece doesn't look like mine? it seems like on his, the connector is longer than mine, that it actually is on level with the collector tank whereas mine is deeply recessed in. does that mean i'm missing something or will that extension piece be included in Odysseus parts?

don't want to waste money on ordering parts that aren't necessary. thanks all!

I am guessing he is using an adapter or 2 most likely he is using a 901 rethreader and a 901 to 510 adapter to bring the connector to the top level of the collector tank. However if you don't care about air controll you can just use Oddy with your stealth cap.

You can remove the steel atomizer connector base from the UFS or purchase a separate replacement, and thread it into the GGTS collector tank after removing the original GGTS atomizer connector base, Its a perfect fit.
Unscrew the 510 cap, remove the atomizer compression ring (from the bottom inside), put the 510 cap back on over the UFS atomizer connector, and its spot-on for the iatty or the Odysseus.

It really does work like a charm, and Poppa described it perfectly

I also miss some parts from the 2 of the sets and on others I have not the right pieces. Its useless to send it to people like this. So I desided to send an Odysseus for free to those 4 people that I promised the samples. Its better this way and I hope that they will be more pleased like this. I want them to have the best impression about Odysseus.

Imeo is that the first group of four or the second group of four that are receiving these samples? Myself, Ace73, and two others (Greek suppliers?) were going to review the Odysseus for you but then I saw mention of a second group of four people? I'm confused.

Fright, It works perfectly using the UFS connector base in the original GGTS collector tank.
Use the air control ring from the UFS ( its taller) with this setup and it is perfect for Imeo's atomizers.

ZuT had you tried swapping it into the GGTS tank and cap? I know you had used the UFS on the iAtty, but the first one was plated, the new steel connector is is perfect.
