Previously I had two oddy ggts bases from the first batch and love them. So two weeks ago I ordered 4 oddy ggts bases from esmoke guru and some upper connection nuts with the intent to put some ithaka rebuildables in there without that basic feeding piece. Well these new oddy bases are totally different. They have the ridge on top like the oddy 510 base and the threads that mate with ggts ct are shorter thus putting the rebuildable higher up in relation to the ct. I imagine this solves that issue of being able to unscrew the mouthpiece totally and prventing that band-aid of an oring on the mouthpiece to prevent it. At the same time using any of my oddy rebuildables in these new bases results in the center pin being too tall for the ggts center pin to reach it. I haven't tried it on justgg yet but I have more ggts so that is more of a concern for me now. As it is now all 4 are unusable for me.
Imeo, was this change intentional?

I and another person, had the same thing happen with the 510 base, if you go back a few pages you can see my posts. I hope the next run of Odys part are all original specs, Im a bit worried.....

I ended up keeping the "odd base" just in case I ever decide to try the Ithaka center pin. Ive been tempted to give it a try, but the Ithaka center pin is a bit costly to just buy and be stuck with if it doesnt work .

If anyone has an extra Ithaka center pin and they want to send it to be to "try" out before I buy an Ithaka pin, I can send it back to you:)
