Its been unusually warm here in Minnesota this week. Its normally cold as hell with lots of snow and ice.
I go up to Lake Superior and there isn't very much snow there yet, its to warm. Normally I would be following snow plows around.

Yeah, it's been a crazy winter. I haven't had ANY snow here except for the storm around Halloween (dumped a couple feet and quickly melted off) and a couple (literally only 2 or 3) flurries that didn't amount to anything. Temps are supposed to get back up into the 40's for the next week or so, too Not that I'm complaining, mind you ;-)

It's the same here in Germany, last week we had around 14°C, no snow, even in our ski-resorts. For the biathlon world cup they drove 5 trucks filled with artificial snow from Bremerhaven to Munich, 900km.

Anyway - I received my two Odysseus yesterday. Finally! I can't remove Imeo's vaseline from one of the ceramics, though, so I need to wait for the replacements. Yes, I tried milk and torch. Still stinks. Bah.
(Imeo - what is the regular use for that stuff and do you actually like the smell? =)

Ah, and hurry up producing the other Odysseus parts! The tank is too small!

Hello GG fans,

I have taken the plunge into the elite world of GG and ordered a GG Stealth SS from COV. While I wanted the GGTS, COV told me that they wont be available for atleast 2 months. My key reason to buy a GG battery mod is because I want to use these wonderful tank systems. I am on a quest for the perfect tank / atty system that does not leak, holds atleast 3ml for all day vaping. So I realized that the Odysseus is probably what I am looking for as the UFS has been discontinued. Now I didnt want to get the odysseus and not have a battery mod for it so I went ahead and ordered the stealth. Will upgrade to a TS as soon as parts are available.

This is a monster thread with 173 pages and I hope to go through them while I wait for the Odysseus to arrive, but I have some questions that are at the top of my mind so I'll post them here.

The first post lists a feature list that says its got a 'clear window'. Is this to check on liquid levels? If so, I cant figure out from the videos or pictures where this window is. Could someone point it out to me? The UFS has a clear ring of transparent PC / glass that I can figure, but cant figure it out for the Odysseus

Practically, if one has to vape about 4ml of PG based juice a day, how frequently do you think the coil and thread will need replacing?

I have subscribed for the product availability notification at COV for the Odysseus but can anyone tell me insider information about when its due to arrive?

I am sure I have a lot of other questions, but will first attempt to go through the discussions here.

Lastly, Imeo, I would like to congratulate you on making one of the coolest looking vapes in the world! And if they vape for me as good as they look, I will be a fan for life! Anxiously waiting to try one of your creations out. I have been scrolling this page My Golden Greek: GGTS over and over again and still dont feel like closing the tab

I can't recall exactly what Imeo said or where, but IIRC there are a couple of other things to be done before the next batch of short mode Odys, so it'll be a little while. I think it was a couple of months? I think the rest of the pieces of Odysseus are next on the list

Anyway, to answer about the clear window: the clear window is part of the full-size mode, where the existing Odysseus is the "short" mode. Much like the UFS, the clear window will be a clear piece of tank that will go on top of the current tank housing

The clear window is part of the "full mode", it wasn't included with the "short mode" since Imeo wanted to get it our by Christmas. It will probably be similar to the window on the UFS I'm guessing. Hopefully around the end of January-middle February we'll see more Ody stuff available. I think originally the end of January was his estimate.

Unseasonably warm in VA, too. Only a dusting of snow all winter. We are taking two horses cross country schooling today and it is supposed to be 64 where we're going. LOVE IT! And I get to fill the Ody and head out with no dripping.

The Odysseus is a new GG product, just recently released.

Newly released GG products tend to sell out at the speed of light. The second release of the same product may take some time, but will possibly have some minor changes or additions to make it a little better, depending on what Imeo has in mind. So typically there is a bit of a delay between first and second release, if there is a second release, the iAtty for example only made 1 run.

Assuming the Odysseus is going to be a permanent GG product and the add-ons to it have not yet been completed nor used or commented on, it could be a while before the 2nd run of Odysseus flashes by at light speed. Unless Imeo comments on it further its hard to say what hes sending out with the promised Odysseus add-ons, expected some time soon.

So settle in and read about it, and wait it out, or advertise in the classifieds and maybe get lucky.

Well, you can use the Stealth with any other cartomizers/atomizers, so no need to wait for the Ody to break it in ;-)
