Is the Ody short-mode going to include a GG specific connector? If not, will we need adaptors of some sort to connect to GGs?

As i know the Odysseus short-mode will have a 510 connection. For a perfect fit on a GGTS i would take a rethreater & 901-510 adapter (without the GGTS top cap). This way you can enjoy the air flow control of the GGTS.
For a connection on a GGStealth you don't need an adapter.

Later on there may be a special connector available to put the Odysseus on a GGTS without adapter.

Imeo, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I really hope this is NOT the case. I don't like using cheap adaptors on my GG - they just don't seem to conduct as well as the stock GG parts. I want the Ody to connect like the UFS does. :2c:

Very simple. You just need a 901 rethreader, one of the ones that came with your GGTS, and a 901-510 adapter. Leave the top cap off and Ody will sit flush with the collection tank.
Would someone please post (with links, if possible) what we will need to attach the Ody to an SSGGTS and maintain airflow control. I want to make sure I have everything ahead of time. Also, will the GG connection that will be made available later work with the first run of Odysseus?

No Yeti. This part is irrelevant with Odysseus, it has to do with GGTS only.

I'm confused Imeo - will there be a native GGTS connection offered at some point for the Odysseus? Will that part be over and above the $120 short mode and $80 package? What is going to be included in the $80 package??

Thanks Imeo!

Oh, and IMO, this is far from a 'perfect fit'. There will still be a gap between the Ody tank and the top of the collecter tank (albeit, a very small gap). This gap would have to be sealed with an o-ring to actually use the air control to it's full capacity.

I want a native GG connection for the Ody, and I'm willing to pay for it!!

Why do you think there will be a gap between Odysseus and GGTS? On the videos it looks like the Odysseues will have the same fit as iAtty has it on a GGTS - and there is no gap between an iAtty and the GGTS and air control is working.

Correct me if I'm wrong (believe me, it happens more often than not :)), but the 'connection' between the iAtty/Ody and GGTS is only metal on metal - no actual connector - relying on the smoothness of the two metal surfaces to supply the 'seal'.

I've used a couple different SS tanks on my GGTS (without the GGTS top cap), and it only kinda-sorta seals. I assume the same type of seal with iAtty/Ody - am I wrong??

You are right about metal on metal but my iAtty seals very nicely without any o rings.

Actually, my iAtty seals right up against the SSGGTS collector tank, no leaks at all.

Imeo has stated before that they will be made so I am guessing it will be an extra cost part.
