I love the Ody now but I have only gotten 3 days from wicks fwiw.....
Now the bad news IMO -- I did not like the Kick I tested, I thought it difficult to use and read and the limit of 10W wasn't enough for me, as constructed I would not buy it -- anything that requires a screwdriver to me is a fail. I have been using a competitor's VV mod for the Ody and I feel like a traitor but it works so much better for me that way.
Now the bad news IMO -- I did not like the Kick I tested, I thought it difficult to use and read and the limit of 10W wasn't enough for me, as constructed I would not buy it -- anything that requires a screwdriver to me is a fail. I have been using a competitor's VV mod for the Ody and I feel like a traitor but it works so much better for me that way.

3 days is about what I get if I don't dry burn clean ect. I am on day 6 with my current coil using the dry burn blow scrub repeat method untill the wick is almost white again. It isn't quite as clean flavor as a new wick/coil but it is better then a day old carto so I am ok with it. I will say once wick is readily available again or I switch to Nextel I will probably just throw them away after a couple days/
As for the kick I am guessing I will just set it to max and leave it alone. Only as a temp thing untill the GG VV is released. And if I really don't like it it sounds like it will be cheap enough to not be a huge loss.

With the recent upswing in Stealth availability, and the simultaneous decline in GGTS's and GGTS part availability, it would make sense for the Ody Base for GG to be separate. Right now Ody can be used on any 510 battery, and there are many of us who (might love to but) can't expand our stealths to full GGTS because the parts just aren't available.
I'd looooove to use it with that base - but until I can get my hands on a top tube and connector/control tank, its a no-go.
Want to know what my least-favorite button on the web is?(but its just because I love Imeo's stuff so much!!!!

I wouldn't think you've done anything; probably just don't like how it performs. The "delay" takes some getting used to and the final version *might* have a higher upper limit. The side spring will be replaced and a possible relocation of the pot. We'll see fairly soon...JMO

Maybe it would be dificult to sell Ody in parts. The reason is that some parts that are needed for a purpose, they are also needed for another purpose too. So at the end, I will stuck with pieces that noone will buy because they will not work without the parts that are already sold
Of course I can sell for more money the parts that people want so even if I stuck with unessesary parts, I will still not lose any money.
Remember that these parts are so cheap that I will not make any money. I can affort this but I cant affort to lose money too
No way should you lose money Imeo - sell them as you see fit. If someone doesn't like it - they don't need to buy it.
One way you could sell them only the parts they want is::

Certain Parts wanted only - 59 euros period. Thats for your having to screw around picking parts and separating them for people.
If all you want is the large tank mode - I will let you have my Iatty and SS tip (both pristine) and extra pieces plus 50.00 for your Ody.
Paid 112.00 Iatty - 35.00 SS tip - 20.00 extra bottom and top piece.

Sounds like the Kick at 10 watts is for people who like a tad more than 3.7 - No reason I can think of why they wouldn't allow more power. Makes no sense.

I loved the concept of this and Para is correct, I did not enjoy the delay either -- at this point I'll wait until a second run, though, to see if the bugs are all worked out, I just hope for their sake no one figures out a competitive device as this has taken quite a while to come to market.......heck, maybe Imeo's rumored one will come out soon!!!

Well lets hope so a GGvv sounds great to me .
I'll OD....and that's not far from the truth. I'll have to get a lot of really low nic ejuice. The variable add on will allow us to fine tune an incredible vaping machine. There's no doubt in my mind it will be as close to vaping perfection as we'll ever experience. We know the design of the GG allows for better transfer of energy from the battery to the appliance. Now we have the appliance (Ody) that takes full advantage....and then the variable add on. It will be something
Yes. We must not forget that it was Imeo's intention all along to sell the Ody with all parts included. Ody was never going to be sold in stages, but, due to logistical problems that pushed out the release date Imeo made the decision to release Ody in short mode as his "Christmas" offering to the family and friends of GG. He had intended to release Ody in it's entirety just before Christmas. We all knew this and also knew that Imeo changed the prices to reflect only part of Ody being sold, with the balance of the original cost going to the remaining parts. Since Ody was never created to be sold in parts or pieces, mix and match, we cannot complain about having to buy pieces we won't use. That complaint was never an "option" and you don't complain about a gift when it is given to you. The gift was Imeo going against his design plans and releasing Ody early.
We all chattered so much about the release timing of Ody, about how we wanted it as a Christmas gift to ourselves, or to a loved one, etc. As we all remember there was quite a buzz going on in those short weeks before Ody hit the wild. Happens every time and that will never change. Kind of fun and exciting really.
Imeo stepped up, once again, to fulfill the wishes and desires of the GG family and got Ody in short mode out the door and to many folks before the New Year.
We are all grateful for this and already, new and exciting ways of using and configuring Ody have been developed and shared amongst the family here and that has really only just started. We only have one piece of Ody's "puzzle". Wait until we get all the puzzle pieces.
Even if you never plan on using Ody in drip mode, or UFS mode, or with China atty's, I challenge everyone to at least give it an honest try. Sure, you may confirm your suspicions that doing that "other" style of vaping is not for you. But maybe, just maybe, you'll discover yet another tool to put in your belt, another way to skin the cat, another round in the chamber, well...you get my drift.
I plan on trying every configuration possible, although my presupposition is that I'll prefer the tall mode with my own coils.
