Thanks! What voltage would I use the 2.5 ohm at to maintain the level of warm vape that the Cisco 1.5 ohm 306's are giving me now at 3.7v? Wouldn't 1.5ohm @ 3.7v work about the same since the coil's a 306 after all, or am I missing something? Would the long barrel cool the vapor too much or should I stick to the short barrel? I'm trying the figure out what advantages there are between the barrel choices (sure wish this info were on the Avidvaper HH357 page). I also forgot to mention that I mostly vape 80/20 PG/VG juices, but sometimes the juices themselves dictate the ratios. Still, I avoid juices that have more VG in them than PG. I want to be able to love the HH357 as much as other vapers seem to, but don't want to make a stupid, uniformed choice in what I order that jeopardize my first impressions with this atty.
I vape mostly 80/20 pg/vg on standard short barrel HH357 1.5S with either a REO Grand or Mini with 3.7 batteries. I found the 2.0s a little too cool and much prefer the 1.5s. It seems some (1 out of 3) of the V1s spit when new for a few days, the first V2 I've used doesn't spit but now sure if it's one of 2 out of 3 that never spit. I don't find a huge difference between the way the V1s and V2s vape-both are fantastic. My V2 has been used 50% of the time for two weeks without needing a cleaning, so maybe there is an improvement there.
For barrel length I prefer the short ones because 1) it's easier to clean and see the coil 2) the long is excessively long and unless you need the length for a tank or something it sticks up too far 3)I have found the long ones occasionally autofeed on my REOs overflowing the catch cup. With the short ones the catch cup stays bone dry. A Cherry Vape Universal drip tip is good to have around if you get one that spits or you want cooler vape for some juices. It gives you the distance of a long barrel when you need it without having to always have it long. I use pawns the rest of the time.
So my suggestion is get a 2.0 or 2.5 if you have variable voltage or a 1.5 for 3.7volts if you like a warm vape. Get short barrels and a Cherry Vape Universal drip tip--best of both worlds.
I have a bunch a Cisco 306s 1.5s I bought and cherished before I tried the HH357. I tried to use one again once and just couldn't-you'll love the HH357. Keep them wet when you vape and they last a very long time.
