Official Boba's Bounty Review thread

After reading a lot of reviews I placed an order with AVE juice a couple of weeks ago for a 30 ml bottle of Boba's Bounty and four or five other flavors. I thought I'd try a small bottle of Gorilla juice as well.

So I got my shipment last week! Got it just before Turkey day. Too cool! So I opened it and found the small Gorilla juice and the other flavors. I was unwrapping the last 30 ml bottle out of the mailing enveloped stoked! It was a 30 ml Gorilla juice. : (
So I emailed AVE juice.

Still waiting to try the Boba's Bounty.

This is the only juice which changes its flavor constantly. Vanilla one min. Bittersweet chocolate the next, then gram cracker. I think I know what is used to make it. Have you ever had bubble tea? The balls or pearls that are in it kind of taste like it. And guess what they're called? Boba Pearls!!!!!!!

Every time I drip my Boba's I say the same thing over and over. Damn that is good! Stock is running low so Cyber Monday here I come, need to replace my GJ also. RAF is running low also, but I do have a joose budget to look after

Well, now I understand the hype. Got 12 mL bottles of Boba's and Gorilla Juice, and I like. Dual coils don't really like either juice, but LR Boges do! I can't get them to vape properly in an eGo-T or an eGo-C, even if I thin them with PEG or distilled water. But they're amazing on the Boges. Why does AVE have to be out of stock?

I just had a Ferrero Rocher chocolate ball, I bit into it and all I could taste was Boba's Bounty. So I checked the ingredient list on the Ferrero Rocher box, chocolate, hazlenut & vanilla. Throw in a bit of tobacco and coconut and you've got Boba's Bounty!

Last week I placed my order for Boba's bounty based on all the reviews. Unfortunately, they only had tiny bottles in 6mg left lols.
So I ordered it, planning to get the bigger and stronger MG next time Smoktek had it in stock.
Anyways, before it arrived I was pretty bummed after reading that Alien Vision was getting out of the business.

Anyways, it arrived today along with my Sun-T Super 1300mah Tank kit

I tried it, and while I must say it does have an interesting taste, although it is not for me.
I'm actually a little relieved knowing I don't like it. I would hate to have liked it, only to never be able to purchase it again. I'll be trying the gorilla juice next, hopefully it will be more agreeable with my palette.

btw, I agree with most of what Adam the Aussie says, although I can also taste a hint of jalapeno.

When I first received mine and tried it, I had the same reaction as you DrMagick....it was okay tasting but didn't knock my socks off. I left it for a couple of months. Just in the last week, as my juice supply had dwindled and I was out of my favourites, I picked it up again.....it had really mellowed and the taste was....somehow really enjoyable, lol. Again, it wasn't 'knock my socks off' but just really pleasant. That bottle (6ml....oops, it was a 12ml bottle) is now empty and while I may have ordered it again in a 30ml bottle....doesn't look like it's available. Oh well.

I bought a tank system, and after swapping the tank cartridge, I could still taste the bobas bounty lol. It did eventually fade away though, and wasn't so bad when it was just a hint of it over my grape. The vapor of my grape is nowhere near as thick as bobas though, which is probably one of it's biggest selling points I assume.

What makes the boba's so thick? Is it because it is a VG base? I have other VG juices which do not even compare to the fog that boba puts out. Anybody know of some more traditional flavors with the same vapor volume?
If so, please let me know, I would love to try it.

Yes, it is the VG in the juice that produces the massive amounts of vapour! Look for juices that have a predominate VG ratio (50/50 or greater) - many vendors offer you a choice in your mix ratio. Also, if they offer it, you may want to increase the flavour shot as well as VG has a tendency to mute flavours somewhat.

yes, i posted that awhile back and no one replied... glad to see someone else thinks so it was mentioned it was easy and sometimes whatever flavor he uses is out of stock so BB isn't available. seems like there could only be one place to get that type of flavor.

CactusGirl: After reading your post, I decided to give it another try. To be honest, I just wanted to see all that vapor again, lols.
Anyways, last night I tried it on an empty stomach. And when I say empty stomach, I mean not having eaten dinner from the day before, then waking up late then heading str8 to work. Very busy at work due to the Christmas rush, so I decided to skip my break and work through it, lols.

By the time I got home, I was so hungy I actually had a little stomach ache. Anyways, I was keen to try my new Tank Kit, and the Boba's ejuice, an on the empty stomach it actually made me feel a little green.

So after reading CactusGirls post, I decided to try it again after breakfast. I must say that I do like it now, lols
Having eaten prior, the flavors weren't overwhelming, and didn't make me feel a little green like it did last night.

I am now sad that I will not be able to get anymore, lols

Is there any word of AVE selling the recipe? Or will it be lost forever?

I was just reading the threads and it looks like he will have some available for his sale (not sure when it starts...could be tomorrow maybe?) but it is limited so first come, first served. I may try to pick some up in a 30ml bottle if I remember to check, lol. I don't think he is closing up shop forever though....his wife is ill and their focus right now is on getting her well.

I've tried emailing AVE to see if they'll post international without success. I'm not aware of any other vendors other than SmokTek who will ship it internationally. You may just have to hope SmokTek can get their hands on some in the near future.

Well luckily they ship to me in Canada (thank goodness for small wonders!). Do you have any friends in the US that might be able to forward an order to you? I don't know what shipping to Australia might cost but it can't be cheap. Where in Oz are you? I have a niece in Sydney who is coming home for a visit in Feb-Mar...maybe she could bring some back with her?

Actually, I know they are pretty strict these days when travelling with liquids and Aussie customs will seize and destroy e-juice as it has not yet been approved. I imagine posting a couple small bottle shouldn't cost more than $20. Anybody willing to place an order for me on my behalf and forward it on to me?

I would but just so ya know, shipping from Canada is pretty steep! I did ship a kit with juice to my sister in Mexico and if I remember correctly, it cost somewhere between $25-$30!!!! Also, keep in mind that shipping to Canada from US is more expensive (and there's no guarantee that it will make it past customs here either...it's always a crap shoot!) unless you qualify for free shipping (over $50 I think). Interestingly enough, I didn't like it the 1st time I hit it either. On the 2nd through 4th days, I thought it was ok. Within a week nothing else could even compare! Give it time and see what happens.

Perhaps if Alien Visions goes out of business, they might release the magic recipe and turn the code into open source!

yup, BB grows on ya for sure, I didnt like it at first either couple yrs back, then after re-visiting it time and time again the addiction started. As of late been mixing it with some WTA and man does this take the edge away to have a real smoke.
