Official Boba's Bounty Review thread

I know this is an old post, but thought I'd throw my 2 cents in.....

I ordered some while away on vacation, and it was waiting for me when I got back.
I was excited to try it 'cause of all the rave reviews.
I was hoping it would be a good flavor for me, so I got the 100ml bottle.

I'm one of those odd balls that doesn't care for the liquids that taste like a "thing".
They don't ever taste like what they are supposed to be, to me.
On the other hand, even though I hate coffee, I've tried a few flavored coffees now and then, and even
though I can smell the white chocolate raspberry flavoring, all I ever taste is the coffee. No after taste or anything, just coffee.
It's the same with the juice flavors, so I've been avoiding the tobacco ones 'cause all I taste is the tobacco flavor.

I have some juice from a few different vendors, and some taste perfumey, but none of them taste like what I would expect.
Maybe I'm expecting something different. When I vape peach, I expect the fruit not a peach flavored candy, so I'm disappointed
and move on to something else.

Juices that aren't flavored after any one specific thing or combo of things I really enjoy.
Hypnotic Mist from FreedomSmokeUSA is my top fave, with AV Hype fighting for that top spot.
I have Wyatt Earp as well that reminds me of BB, only with an almost licorice flavor.
I'm starting to wish I had ordered the 100ml of the Hype instead of the BB, but I'm not giving up on the BB yet.

Right now, I mostly taste the tobacco, but there is an "under flavor" of something....
I almost want to say cloves, but it isn't spicy enough for clove.
I have to agree with whoever said raw honey. I suspect/smell some type of raw sweetener, but not over sweet, like honey or molasses will do. Or brown sugar.

I've tried it in my eGo cartridge and my eGo with a drip tip.
I can say I suspect it will mix well with either Hypnotic Mist or Hype cause I didn't clean my attys first and they still had a little
of either in them.
I have not yet tried it with a cartomizer or my eGo Tank but will in the next few days.

I've only been vaping a month (and 2 days) maybe my taste buds are still clearing out. Ha!

Call me crazy call me kooky call me whacky call me spooky, but one of my new favorite vapes is mixing Boba's with Chocolate Mint, 50/50 is a good place to start, or 60/40 CM/Boba.

I absolutely love it, moreso than straight Bobas now.
I'll hit straight Boba's for a few minutes each day, but the blended carto comes home empty every day.
Been vaping that daily for about a week now, no sense of tiring of it at all.

I am a new vaper (analog free since July 4th) and i got myself the Bobas Bounty from AVE. This is predomintely my all day vape but i did notice a thing or two. First, is this juice supposed to be sweet? I can barely taste the tobacco but i definentely can taste what i can only describe as graham crackers?! Then again, i only have tried this and AVEs root beer (which is just an epic juice). The vapor is immense and the throat hit is just where i want it to be. AVE has sold me to thier products. Big kudos to them for providing us with quality VG products.

ok ive spent some time with my bottle of Boba's now and at first i wasnt sure if i really liked it or not. it was good but i wasnt crazy about it. every few days i would revisit the juice and it seemed to grow on me each time. today ive vaped it all day as i have a few other days. i really enjoy it most in a LR Boge carto on an ego bat.

now what do i think it taste like? at first i couldnt answer that that question. my best guess at first was kinda like chocolate cake batter? i knew it wasnt just like choc. cake batter but it kinda reminded me of it for some reason. until today i had about just given up on what i thought it taste like and was just trying to enjoy it regardless of what it did or didnt taste like. i had a break threw today though. while looking for some crackers to put in soup i found a pack of chocolate gram crackers. i dont know why but i smelled them and it instantly reminded me of Boba's. i took one out of the pack and decided to give it a taste test and sure enough it taste just like Boba's Bounty. i really think this is the mystery flavor.

all and all Boba's Bounty is a very unique flavor in the vaping world. i will likely always keep a bottle around. there really is nothing like it. it is in my daily vaping rotation and im sure it will stay there for quite some time. if you havent tried it you really should. im not going to say you will love it but im sure it will be different from anything else you have tried.

Odd about Boba's and me...

Took me a few days to even like it, then I liked it a lot, then I found myself cutting it with another flavor (backing it down to an accent flavor basically), then I found myself leaving it in the 'B' alternate bottle caddy and taking others during the day, primarily PV4, Nostalgia, Bounty Hunter, (flavored) Gold Rush, and some minty-fruity choices.

So I returned to it today after not vaping it for awhile.

And it now tastes sooo sweet I'm back to not liking it much anymore, it now has an almost overly-syrupy sweetness that is just kinda ...weird. Maybe it's from steeping for a few weeks now...

I still like it used as an accent flavor, but not standing alone. Funny about that Boba...can't think of another juice that has changed that much for me over a month's time.

And I can't figure anyone who gets a tobacco flavor out of it, it's a lot of things to a lot of people, but I never got a hint of a tobacco taste out of Boba.


I WILL say this about Boba tho, since everyone takes a stab at the flavor components...

One day I was vaping it a few weeks ago and my palette was very clean that day, hadn't eaten anything, it was about 10:00 am in the morning, palette was perky and very alert...

And after vaping it for a few minutes and stopping, letting the afterflavors break down on my tongue, I absolutely and distinctly tasted apple and banana separately.
I don't think they are the primary components, but I'm absolutely sure I tasted those flavors clearly, maybe they're small percentages...maybe that's why everyone orders GJ with BB...?

At first I didn't like it that much. But like most of you it grew on me. I could not pick out the flavor. I let a few family members try it and my Aunt said it tasted a lot like amaretto to her. I agreed......until I saw M_FactorX19's post. Dude chocolate graham crackers just about nails the flavor dead on! When I vape it at 5v I get a harsher tobacco taste but when I vape it at 3.7 on my riva batts. chocolate graham crackers hits it dead on....mostly. It's not exactly the flavor I get but its is damn close.

I've been vaping Boba for well over a year, I've thrown in my two cents, but I tasted something today that was weird. 6 months ago I vaped 3.7, but lately I've been doing 6 volts. For some reason, I tasted RAISIN today. Does anyone else get that? Using a Phidias w/ 2 rcr123a's on an IKV 2.5 stealth atty, Boba 18mg, I really get raisin.

Flavors that I have previously sworn to be the secret ingredient:
- coconut
- cocoa
- cola
- graham cracker
- tequilla
- now raisin

I really think the allure to this juice is not only the mystery behind it, but as others have previously mentioned, the fact that it's name doesn't denote the flavor. Everyone knows that taste is subjective, and what may be a spot-on blueberry to me, may taste artificial and wonky to you. I suspect most mixologists have already caught on to this mystery name/taste game. Either way, it's my all-year-vape.

Wow... three hours with Boba's tonight. My thoughts:

Although I have had four orders in for more than a week (I don't think this was AVE's fault at all as all of my packages are doing this, but it's taken 11 days to get to NYC from TX). I'm just explaining this because after I received my Vaperite tobacco sampler last week, it was all I had. It has been a straight seven days of Vaperite's APV, Perique and VR4. All of which I love, but have a pretty mild throat hit and a very... natural? peaty? tobacco taste.

So the Boba's was kind of a revelation: it got right into my sinus from the first hit--a huge change-up from the Vaperite tobaccos. I'm really really enjoying every puff on this.

My first impressions: some type of sweet nutty (hazelnut? nutmeg?) chocolate, with just a hint of a cayenne pepper. Or a cinnamon? Something with just a bit of kick. It just has this warm sweet base (which is to say not overly sweet to me) with a hot red spark right in the middle of the inhale, and fading on the exhale. I don't really detect a lot of tobacco right now.

Anyhow, I'm on the 24mg right now, the TH, to my liking at least, is very strong and satisfying. Also, unlike the Vaperite tobaccos, my E-Power with a fresh charged battery (which I think I read it supposed to output at 4.2 right off the charger) and a smoktek 1.5 dual coil carto seems to be burning up the flavor a bit past my liking--although it could be the carto, which is brand new (although I believe I got it very wet.) I'm much much much preferring this on my Volt (according to Steeljan's video outputting at 3.7-3.8v right off the charger) and the Volt blank carto. Will give it a shot on my REO tomorrow with a 306 1.5 atty and see how it tastes there.

In any event: looking forward to vaping this for the rest of the night. And really interested to see how it steeps.

i got my first AVE juices today, BB and GJ. i had to try them immediately.

i tried BB first, and loved it. i taste graham cracker, which is awesome. sweet, but no too sweet.

i then tried GJ. also loved it. for the most part, i thought it tasted much like BB with banana in it.

can't wait for them to steep a bit, and enjoy them over the next month or so! glad i finally got around to getting me some BB and GJ!

I've been following this thread for awhile and I think I've read all or at least most of it so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon. I'm as curious as a cat so I had to try it. I've been vaping it off & on for maybe a week. Not enough time for a good evaluation I know. I'm not real crazy about the flavor because it tastes like something I'm not crazy about and that is pumpkin pie. I blew some clouds into my BF face to see what he thought without mentioning the pumpkin pie and his first impression was nutmeg. I blew a few more clouds and he stayed with nutmeg. That would make sense since pumpkin pie has nutmeg in it (I think). I puff on it a few times everyday but the taste hasn't changed. Still pumpkin pie. I don't taste any tobacco or anything sweet in the flavor at all. Just my 2 cents.

Bobas Bounty just doesn't have much taste to it at all. It is so mild that I cannot even pin the taste down. I smell a little carmel but I don't really taste it. I've had my bottle for 4 mo. so I don't think steeping will have much to do with it. i know taste is subjective but I can not understand the overwhelming popularity of Bobas, there is so little flavor in it.

im telling you, pick up a box of chocolate graham crackers next time you are at the grocery store and try them while comparing it to Boba's.im pretty sure they were the store brand from Krogers but i didnt have the box to know for sure.

ive read AVE said it was simple and that is simple. im sure there are some other flavors as well but i really think this is the base. there is a spice (nutmeg?) about it that the graham crackers dont have but they are remarkably similar. thanks for confirming my suspicion.

Im fairly certain i just got a bad batch of boba's bounty. My first go around was 18 mil and was a dream. I had only been vaping a short time and I had already found my all day vape. so naturally I ordered 100 mils. Now it tastes awful, Nothing like my first bottle. So I let it sit 2 weeks with no change. trying to figure out what happened gonna order another small bottle and see if its back to what I remember. In the meantime i gotta find something to mix this stuff with or toss it.

You should probably contact AVE if you think it's really a bad batch. That's a lot of sweet sweet nectar to toss out.

It's quite possible that if you were a new vaper that your taste buds have changed since then. My favorite juices from when I first started are sitting in a box half full because I moved on once my tasted buds started to come back.

I just ordered my first sample of Boba's to see what it's like. I have been on the same 3 juices for the last 6 months and decided I needed to branch out.

What would we do without Boba's Bounty? Ive tried it all and nothing comes close to this wonderfull e-juice! It has a nice pipe tobacco taste with a little hint of a fine cigar mixed with a sweet almost ghram cracker taste. All Hail AVE Juice!

I have tried BB and GJ, both are good enough, actually quite nice, but I am a DIY vaper, I make a juice thats similar, so no need to buy much juice any more.
