Rarely will you find 2 people in complete agreement about the flavors that they taste in Boba's. This is what makes this juice so unique in a way that it can be enjoyed by all yet everyone tastes something different. Never have I come across a complex yet addicting flavor such as this, makes the 1300 other juices I have tried taste like toilet water in comparison.

Trust me when I say that I have been vaping for 5 years come this summer and for the last 2 of those years when I first discovered Boba's, I have been vaping nothing else. Well, maybe some Raf and Gorilla in between. Every new juice that I buy just ends up in disappointment finding it's way to the trash, sold or is given away.

If any of you are wondering why I happen to buy so many new juices weekly, for one, my curiosity always gets the better of me and two, I feel it is to better help people make a better decision here and on Nu-Vapor where I am an Admin.

For those interested in this thread, please read it from beginning to end as I truly feel it can better help you understand the history of Boba's. :)

I posted most of this on the Nu-Vape forum but so happy to find this thread! Not surprised to see Boba Keith, lol.

Ok folks, I have my first big bottle of Boba's here and very pleased with the first impressions I am getting! Admittedly I set out to embrace this flavor having been no doubt influenced by my study of the reviews and vids out there.

First wiff:
I get molasses as many do
Tobacco
...and honey! Big time honey! Glad to see a few mentions of raw honey from others on this thread. I'm not crazy.

First vape:
The predominant flavor (PV2 @ 3.7v on 2.0ohm carto) for me so far is that of honey.

I hope you'll find interesting what my wife who is neither a vaper or smoker offered when I let her smell the Boba's. She said immediately "PANDAN." my DW is from the Philippines and pandan is extract from the screwpine leaf. She promptly grabbed a little bottle of the extract she uses in her cooking and I have to agree. There are some similar qualities between what I smell in the Boba's and the pandan.

In a nutshell I haven't a clue of what is going on in this dark green bottle from Alien Visions but I am sure they wouldn't want it any other way. I'll be back as the saga unfolds and my taste evolves. Steeping, VV, Yet to use my HH.357 with it... Fun fun!

LL&V,

I have yet to taste what straight molasses tastes like but will do so just to satisfy my curiosity. Pandan(Pandanus), known as the "Hala" in Hawaii is very common yet never knew it was used in cooking. I do know that in the olden days, the leaves were used for making canoe sails, baskets, mats, hats and is still used till today.

Once you figure out where the "sweet spot" is, the flavor will change again. Different atties at different voltages will constantly keep you guessing, my recommendation would be to try a variety of voltages with the HH.357 for your best chance at deciphering the flavors.

I gave up a year ago trying to figure out what was in it, all I know is that I am even more unsure today than I was 2 years ago. If anyone has ever noticed, there is not a single thread here on 1 particular juice where hundreds of people have different opinions on except Boba's. The only majority consensus is that we all enjoy it so the mystery will continue to live on.

Today I got some Boba's Bounty, Gorilla Juice and Flue Cured in the mail.

Got a Boge LR Carto fillied with Boba's Bounty, and a Ressurector filled with Gorilla juice. Both on KGO batteries.

All I can say is Wow! I have only been vaping for a couple of weeks, but these juices are miles ahead of any other juice I have tried.

To me, Boba's Bounty tastes like a nice aged Virginia Pipe Tobacco. This would explain why some people get hints of figs, raisins, molasses, and some people get hints of vanilla, sugar, and maybe a little tobacco. It tastes to me exacly like a well aged tin of Full Virginia Flake pipe tobacco. And since I also love to smoke my pipes, and Full Virginia Flake is one of my favorite pipe tobaccos, this stuff is it for me. I have only been vaping for a couple of weeks, and looking for my sweet spot to finally get myself off of analogs, and this juice is it. Will be buying more and exclusively vaping Boba's Bounty.

The Gorilla juice is no slouch either though. Very good juice indeed, and if it weren't for Boba's bounty being the perfect juice for me, I would be in love with the Gorilla Juice. The banana flavor is amazing, but it is not as good to me as the aged pipe tobacco taste I am getting from Boba's Bounty.

My set-up is a KGO kit and I like the batts and 510 connection. But what Cartomizer would you all reccomend as the best for a KGO Batt and Boba's Bounty. So far I have it loaded in a Boge 510 LR Carto, and my logic is that it would possibly conserve on the juice over the ressurectors. But the GJ in the Ressurector is giving a better throat hit. The performance of the Boge LR is very good, but am just wondering if anyone would have a better all around method for enjoying the juice on a KGO Batt.

Chris,

I would recommend that you try some clean tasting atties and this is coming from a guy who exclusively used carto for the past 2 years although I did use atties 3 years prior to that. I am hesitant on recommending the HH.357 atomizer which I honestly feel is overpriced but if you never try at least one, you will never ever know what you have been missing out on.

If you do happen to decide and try one, make sure you get the 1.5ohm version, long or short barrel doesn't matter. This combination will work perfectly at voltages 3.7 and under, your Boba's flavor will magically jump to another level and you will forever hate me for addicting you on such an expensive atty.

Ps, I even hate myself for trying them in the first place.:D

Hahaha...I too was a confirmed carto lover....until I discovered dripping on a debridged lr atty ~ seriously, it's like night and day!!!

Having said that, I am having great results with the Ego Vision (stardust) tanks - same clean flavour as dripping without the hassle of constantly dripping, lol.

Are you using Boba'a Bounty in the Stardust tanks? is BB too thick of a juice for the stardust tanks?

I love the Boba's. But they are playing games, turning off the ordering system, only selling it during some time slot that I've been unable to find.

It's pissing me off. If you don't want my business, just say so.

I've been ordering 100ml at a time, and this isn't the first time that I've seen them do this stuff. I'm going to give up on them. I like the product, but they apparently want to sell 10 or 20 bottles at 8:00 in the morning and then close down for the rest of the day.

I've been trying to order for several days now, they won't let me. I'm leaving town for the weekend, so I won't get to order then. (Plus I'm sure AveJuice won't be open during the weekend - they aren't even open during the week.)

I give up. I'll just have to find a vendor that actually wants to do business.

So... did you not read the notice on their main page explaining what's going on?

"Update! Please Read.

We will be truncating orders for the next week. This will mean that the payment system will likely be down as the day progresses each day. Additionally our Help Desk (online support) will also be down during this week. We are currently looking to expand the business and its facilities this has culminated in a week of furious scheduling and a lot of time required outside of the office. We would like to assure our customers that this is a short disruption and that we will be back with a vengeance once we finalize our appointments this week.

We would ask that everyone experiencing the "No Active Payment System" wait patiently during this time and rest assured we are aware of the issue (this is the message sent by our system when we close orders). We thank everyone for their patience and promise not to make many more situations like this... okay maybe perhaps once more when we move but we're pros at this by now and will make it as painless as possible."

If you did read it and still had this reaction, do you have aspergers or something?

I'm probably posting in the wrong thread with this one.

But, I have a 30ml bottle of BB sitting in my rather extensive accumulation of juices from multiple vendors.

And, while I agree that Boba's is rather extraordinary it doesn't hold a candle to the absolutely unbelievably amazing AV Ralph-a-licious!

Ralph's has by far the best flavor combination of any liquid I have tasted to this point. I have mixed up my vaping between these two juices and I can't stop choosing the Ralph's as my favorite. Luckily I grabbed quite a few bottles of Ralph's and when these run out I'll definitely buy some boba's to replace them. But, for me at least the Ralph's is a better "flavor".

One thing is for sure as far as I'm concerned...... AV juices are heads and shoulders above every other mixer I've tried to this point.

Every AV juice I've tried is worthy of vaping (and I have 7 or 8 of them). Even if it doesn't fit my preferences they still taste and feel very nice. I have at least 20 juices sitting in my e-cig box that I'm really not all that interested in trying again.....some of these being extremely highly rated by users here.

you do mean Raf-a-licious, right? It's very good.... Gets better after steeping for two weeks. I found it a bit too sweet right away. But it's great now. Too bad they won't be making it anymore.

yes, you are right..... I just always think of it as "give me my Ralph's". Guess I had the name wrong and should have checked the bottle's. Luckily I only use like 2-3 ml a day so I should have enough for 3-4 months.

I'm hoping it's a short term stop..... if they do produce raf's again I'll be buying 100ml bottles (or whatever they will sell me).
