Sorry I am new to the JGG, but have one on order. Why are new 510 CT's needed for the Oddy etc to fit flush, will they not with the one that comes with it or is there another reason.

"Snip--- order your CT only if you need it. That means, only if you have GGTS native bases for your Iatty and/or Odysseus. If you dont own any of them then no reason to buy it because your Ithaka works without any problem with existing CT. "

some people's native GG bases (for iAtty & Odysseus) don't fit flush on the CT. It was not all of them though. If you have the GG base for your Ody, then check that it fits flush to the top of the CT. If it doesn't, you can get a replacement from COV. This issue is only for the GG base though, not the 510 connection.

there won't be another run of Penelopes but you might be able to snag an extra when COV or Guru has them.

if you are referring to the JGG CT, Imeo said COV will get theirs with the Penelope shipment.

Got a notification e-mail from COV saying the brass top tube for the GGTS was in, but by the time I got to the site (using the link in the e-mail), it was back to "Notify Me" ... I don't know how many COV had, but they must have FLOWN off the site! I've been waiting on one of those tubes for it seems like forever ...
