So the kit doesn't come with the AW's?

I much more prefer the Panasonics over AW but appears there are no Panasonics in the 186350. My stock/AW 18650 took a back seat once I discovered the new Panasonic IMR 18650's.

Going to probably purchase the single unit and batteries if that is the case with the kit coming with the stock batteries until panasonic ones come out.

No, just factory batteries.

Also do you carry just the spacers for the WPII charger? I would need a couple more so I could charge both of them :)

Still waiting for these, no eta yet :(

sorry for not being on (and LD for now being on the show) lots of issues to deal with here lately.

No problem didn't even expect answers as quick as I got them from you :)

Glad to see a vendor responding as quickly as they can even when their life is in chaos. I will be putting in order probably this weekend as I am going through the "need a new toy fever". As usual when I go through this I end up with another mod put away to never be seen again.

It's cool man. First official show is Sunday, and I would love to have you on. If you can't be, give me a call later, and I can do the stock report for you. :)

I received my Ovale V8 yesaterday and I am really impressed with it. A fully charged set of AW's lasted almost 16 hours, longer than my Lavatube with an AW18650. The fit is pretty good with no gaps although the edges are a bit rough.

My dislikes are few and not really that important but I'll state them anyway.

1. The up/down keys are a little too sensitive and can easily be changed without your realizing it.

2. I like the 3 control button on the lavatube better since you can get battery and carto readings. Also the new LT gives you a battery gauge.

3. You also have an on/off switch on the LT but it or the ability to lock voltaqge seems like it would be more of a necessity on the V8 with its sensitive up/down keys.

4. I am left-handed so I could do without the finger guides, also I think it would look better. I don't find the plastic slippery.

5. It should have a built in 510 connector, I just know that sooner or later I wil loose it and then what? Can I replace it with any stock 510/ego connector?

All in all I think this is a no brainer buy for anyone looking for a VV mod.

On a YouTube review I saw there was a red led on the side. Was that a hallucination because I don't see any other leds on mine except for the meter and firing button?

Anyway if you get one you will enjoy it and if it lasts 6 months for the price be satisfied.

They should be the same CE3 XL that others carry. What have you tried so far? I'll tell you what works for me, pulling the coil up and lining it up with the slots. Most of mine came with the coil pushed down below the slots. This was causing the wicks to not properly cover the holes. It was also causing flooding. I took a paperclip and make a very small 90 degree angle at the end. I then placed it under one side of the coil and very gently pulled up. I repeated the process on the other side until the coil was even with the two slots. Once I did this, the vapor increased, the flavor increased and the flooding stopped completely. If you haven't tried this, give it a shot:)

This works great...And if you happen to get the coil just a tad too high, don't despair. No need to drain out the juice and disassemble. I just popped off the drip tip, cut the end off of a Q-Tip, slid it down the air hole and ever so slightly pushed the coil down a tad. Be very light handed with this procedure.

Eric, Got my CE3's today...having a blast. Thanks!

Marty

The 1200mah 18350 lasted from 7 am Yesterday to 3 pm today, minus 3 hours sleep time (no I don't sleep much) about 29 hours of use,, roughly 25% more run time. Safe to say that the Ultrafire are somewhere around 1100-1200 mah actual capacity assuming the kit battery rating of 900 mah is accurate. Once I have some AW's to compare them to I'll have a more accurate idea of what's true to it's rating. I found some Trustfire 1200mah 18350 from an Asian(I think) website after a lengthy search but it will take several weeks to get them shipped so I might just take a pass on those and if I feel a need for a fourth set of bats I will just get more AW's from Eric <-the man when it comes to fast processing/shipping

Are the 1200s protected? Id be nervous to use anything besides AWs or Pannys.A

Yes they are protected as are the trustfire reds I saw Ultra1200.jpg

The fit of these in the V8 is tight, enough that I wouldn't reccomend them to anyone. Use them at your own risk. AW IMR absolutely the way to go.
