I do indeed expect slower gunking with temp control. How much with NET remains to be seen, but I wouldn't be surprised if the improvement is quite drastic. I'm already getting more run time after switching to rayon and spaced instead of contact wraps. If run time is improved enough with temp control, I would be willing to drop dry burning.
I think it will help; minute tobacco particulates burning onto a coil may be a big cause of the gunk that temp control may slow. Just have to see how it works in practice. Fingers crossed, I'm pretty excited about this new tech!Just thinking outloud, if you were to set the temperature below the point where your extracted tobaccos turn to carbon then there wont be any buildup.
