As much as I'm not a fan of RIP, (other than coil building), that is a great introduction to the Evolv dna 40.Derp ripper just posted a nice DNA40 introduction video. Nothing who has read this thread doesn't know already but very good for newcomers.
RiP Trippers - DNA 40 Introduction Basics!
Correct, it does. I started at 200, no vapor. Had to get to around 300 before it produced much. I run with it set to 330.Yes it does but you have to use different temps to achieve the same effect... I think people said start with 200 but I've personally never used titanium

Yeah me neither until I realized it was just an online persona ... His early videos are a lot more "tame". as far as getting the info out, I find his videos very high def and informative thought have found some findings contrary to his

He's entertaining, and stays pretty current, especially with RDAs. Pbusardo nails it when it comes to RTAs, but not quite as entertaining.
I'm interested to see how Rip feels about nickel/temp protection over the next couple months, since he said he'll be doing more vids with it. In my experience, temp protection is a nice feature, but I still prefer my kanthal builds. They're easier and more consistent at least for me. The best thing that the DNA 40 has done for me is as a diagnostic - it's a great way to tell how my wicking is performing, and how many watts work best with different atomizers.
BOOM!

Kinda random- but Peg mentioned you on his new video against trolls.![]()
I remember several great posts of yours in the rayon discussion. Is there objective data that makes you prefer titanium? Or is it just a matter of nickel irritating you (which is objective enough, mindCorrect, it does. I started at 200, no vapor. Had to get to around 300 before it produced much. That time and labor was recreational, therapeutic, and enlightening you can't put a price on that. That only holds if your time and labor is worth nothing.
