NEW P3 just up~!

NEW ProVari™ 3 Celtic Knot Design

The ProVari™ 3 is a powerful microprocessor controlled PV that lets you adjust and fine tune the device to your exact preferences by adjusting the power (in voltage or wattage), along with a number of great new features never before seen. The ProVari™ 3 uses the latest technology to bring you some new and exciting features.

The ProVari™ 3 has regulated power output which keeps the voltage or wattage the same with each puff regardless of your remaining battery power. As the battery drains, the device will keep the power output consistent, giving you the perfect vapor all day long. Now you can dial-in the perfect settings for your tank or atomizer, and e-liquid!

Are you saying there is something faulty with my device? This happens with the 2.5 and its a known issue. Surprised it's still happening with the p3. I understand the technical reason this occurs with the 2.5 as the battery voltage sag trips the "replace battery" indicator, but don't understand why this is occurring with a relatively fresh battery in the P3.

I'll email them and ask anyways just to clarify.

Happens on all my ProVarii that have RBAs on them.

The issue of erroneous battery readings is still present!!!! This is really starting to annoy me on why provape still doesn't have this fixed. I cannot understand how a battery reading goes from 90% to "empty" and then screwing out and screwing back in brings it back to 90%.

Yes it's a fresh battery with 89 IQ. Can't figure out why it's doing this, but it's similar to the 2.5 with the premature blinking lights. It just seems a lot worse in the P3. It's happened to me with every single battery I am using, and several of them are brand new batteries, both flat top and nipple tops!!

Anyone else experience this?

It's all in the spring. The fix is to stretch your spring out so it's making a solid connection. Due to all the various battery types available to use, some with button tops, some flat top and all the various sizes that different manufacturer's offer there can be a lot of variations. If for example you are using a flat top smaller battery and stacking all the rings for a 18650 cell, then you will need to stretch the spring out so it's got good force on the battery otherwise it will think the battery is empty because of a poor connection. Hope these tips help. If not please feel free to contact us and we can provide further assistance.

I soooooo wanted to try this on my ProVari too. Iz sad:( If the new Firmware does this, I'm buying a P3 today

Aspire makes the Nautilus and the Atlantis (it's not a "Nautilus Atlantis" - had to correct the previous post for starters).

It would be pointless for ProVape to lower the resistance limit to 0.5 ohms, as you'd hit a maximum of 15W at 2.75V when you reach the 5.5A limit. The Atlantis was designed to run at a much higher wattage. I use mine on a mechanical, so with a fresh battery, that's 30W @ 8.4A. At the end of a battery (around 3.2V), when it's not producing so much vapor anymore, it's down to 20W @ 6.4A. So, lowering the minimum resistance on the P3 would require the amperage limit to be increased as well, at and that point, might as well raise the wattage limit too. Not likely to happen. Not physically impossible, just not very ProVape-like.

I haven't seen the 0.7 ohm coil, but the same math applies. 3.74V @ 5.34A reaches the 20W limit - where I become disappointed in the vape and want to change the battery. You really want more surface area on the coil, at a higher resistance, at a higher voltage on a regulated device, not a lower resistance. However, it would be great if the P3 could provide 30W (4.58V @ 6.54A with the 0.7 ohm coil, which would be 3.87V @ 7.74A with the 0.5 ohm coil).

Out of sheer curiosity, can you post a picture of your bottom cap?

Hi HB by -I'll try to tonight as I am away from my computer and I don't have a Tapatalk ID. The spring is stretched out where I have to push in to get it to catch the threads if that's what you were wondering. I'll stretch it out more as vape360 said below. Maybe it's as simple as that?

I guess you're not understanding what I'm trying to say based on the reply here you gave me...I am looking for a mod that goes 30 watts and above because I vape mostly at .60 Ω. I'd prefer a mod with the same looks and quality as the ProVari. I know, this will not happen. I only wish it would happen

I figured out ohms, resistance and watt limits before I started wrapping my own coils ;)

I can name a couple Angie...no one has the quality of Provape but there is one that comes close. Build quality is spot on but form factor is different....made in Hawaii. I'll pm you later.

Again though there is no Provari quality but Provape when it comes to meticulous perfection.

I hear YA and that's why I haven't bought another 30+ watt mod. I'm still holding out for a Titanium P3  Or dark metallic purple. LOL.

Thanks! My way to explain it: That spring should be stretched far enough so that screwing on the end cap will be challenging the first time. It's not going to slip and thread like it's sliding on butter. /lol It will require force and concentration to carefully engage the threads so you don't strip them. After you do this a few times for swapping bats it gets easier.

The only mistake I made was by not getting the polished. I really love my polished 2.5.

We will likely have a 7 foot snow fall in Tampa before I buy a polished Provari. Sir Rod, Master of Lube does not handle finger prints or scratches very well. No he doesn't!

FINALLY ! Received five vape mail packages yesterday, including a Silver Satin P3, a Black P2 / Original KFL Combo (acquired in trade), a Black HCigar KFL Lite + V2, a Catfish Veritas (an Ehpro Veritas clone remodeled to Bottom Feed), and got my VV Grand back from a 'Haircut'. and some juice....
Been playing with all three mods the last couple of evenings. Don't understand all of the bells and whistles on the P3 yet, but both ProVari / KFL setups are producing a very smooth, relaxing Vape. Good for Evening Mods.
