Sounds like my luck with DNA200's

Got one as a birthday gift....two weeks later, got the dreaded "warranty service" screen. Had that one replaced, and the replacement came all scratched up, and wouldn't keep battery packs in balance. Called it a loss on that brand, but someone pif'd me a vaporshark.....a few weeks later....."warranty service" screen
this last one has a happy ending, it is on the way back to me from vaporshark, they extended the warranty and fixed it for me.

While I don't doubt anything you've said. Even you must admit that you're luck has to be the exception to the rule.
I've never had this happen with another mod whether I bought it for myself or someone else.

And don't hope it gets fixed for me, hope it gets fixed for my niece ;) Luckily we have a few more 2.5's laying around she can use so her girlfriend won't have to give the one back she just got from her.

The Radius I gifted my niece is already on it's way back to the re-seller in Germany. The screen cover is loose, you can move it with your finger and it rattles around. Really Provape, a €200 mod and it has a loose screen. It's gonna be at least a week and a half before she gets her replacement and I just hope that one doesn't have a loose screen. Nice going, great quality control! Here I was thinking I got her a nice present and now we have to deal with this BS.

The display screen is loose?! That's awful! can you post a pic of this?

No, we don't. Oh, and the battery wrap also has tear in it at the negative pole. And here's what's so funny about this. All of our Chinese made SX Mini's are flawless, but a company like Provape that says they make the highest quality mods on the market lets this slip through the cracks. Something like this doesn't exactly inspire much confidence in my niece with the Provape brand.

It's already at the post office so no, I can't. But it moves back and forth by at least 1.5mm. It wasn't pressed in correctly which is causing the movement and rattle.

glad, it's already being taken care of. Sounds like you bought it from someone with a good RMA process at the very least. I would have like to have seen that though. I was just holding mine under the light to try an envision how far in it would have to be before there could be an actual rattle cause that lens looks pretty thick. Good luck on the rest of your return process :)

Luckily this kind of stuff is regulated at the EU level. You can send it back (unused) within 14 days of ordering it without an explanation and the shop must give you your money back or in our case replace it.

Sorry Lucy, you are not even getting to hold the football much less pull it out from under me. Saw this coming a mile away. A sadly predictable donkey.

I don't get it. Must be typical American humour?

Anyway, can you explain what it is exactly that is predictable about receiving a Radius with a loose screen cover?

I'm not answering for him, but I will say that I too expected you'd have an issue and indeed you have. You have to admit that your posts, for the most part are not very Provape supportive. Your girlfriends Radius went back. You don't like the P3 or Procyon because you can't update the firmware yourself. And now the Radius you bought your niece has issues. Not that I'm questioning whether it does. It just seems your relationship with Provari doesn't meet your needs.

So you guys are saying it was like a setup? I guess I did think it was a little inconvenient that someone would share every step of the purchasing process including color choices with the community but then not have pictures to share of a defective unit when it turned out unfavorable but why would someone do that?

Because I obviously was hoping it would have a defect so it would have to be sent back. I think it's totally awesome my niece now has to wait on a new unit! Yay! Go Provape!

I am starting to doubt there actually is a niece ... it must be quiet in the Dikode thread

Hi Lem,

I'm sorry to hear about the problem.

Which store did you order from? We will reach out to them to look into this problem.

I ordered it from e-smokehaus.de
But the important question is how this unit got through QC?
Thank you.

That's what I want to look into!

Can you share the order number as that makes it faster to communicate with the vendor.
