@AstroTurf, are you acknowledging here that the days of the indestructible Provari are over, that this Radius needs more care and feeding, including to be kept completely dry at all times? Never had to worry about that with my P2.5's
Not hardly.

But it seems that some posting here may need a waterproof mod.

Vapin in the rain, I'm vapin in the rain... so on and so forth!

Over the past 2 months, I have dropped my Provari (the pink one and the Ti /scream) in the bathtub...dont look at me like that.

Neither suffered a bit a damage.

I dropped my istick on the ground/dirt/concrete/tile floor and it still works...but no way would it survive the tub - or I should say - I might not trust it after. Hubs replaced his istick after a eliquid leak and the thing went all Blair Witch on him. I imagine ProVape has thought of most every thing - water being one of them based on my experience - so hoping the Radius lives up to the reputation of ProVape but I'll need to see some user reviews of the poly finish before I consider buying one. I love how the metal ProVaris feel.

Hopefully, they will offer a Ti :)

Is there some reason you are singling out each post and attacking everything he says?
I am read/catching up on a backlog of posts and commenting on what I see that needs commenting on.

Is there another way?!?

Thanks, Jim

I was out on one of my many 10 minute breaks at work this past Thursday, vaping away in the rain, not at all worried water would get to the nonexistent USB port on my 2.5...
How bout getting into the electronics thru the fire button...

Please Steve, can we please stop this?

Jim

Most of us have waterproof mods, a Provari. At least supposedly very water resistant. Why do you have so much trouble acknowledging that that is apparently no longer the case, with the added USB port?

Aside from water, I have always had a concern (with my box mods) with the possible issues related to eJuice getting in the USB port. I doubt I'm the only one that has ever over-dripped or had a tank leak juice down the side, and in the USB port.

Circuit boards are waterproof; problem is the chips on them aren't...

Provape themselves have always claimed the Provari is extremely waster resistant. So can we stop pretending that is not so and admit that, at least in that way, the Radius is a step backwards in reliability?

And I'm not criticizing Provape. This step backward may be necessary in order to give the market what it demands, which is basically a high(er) box mod. But we can't even start to discuss that with the fanboyism going on here.

Provaris with or without a USB are not waterproof.

There's a difference? You could draw it in sparkly crayon and I wouldnt understand lol No offence - its just me :p

I dont know what that means though - does ProVape use a circuit board instead of a chip like other then? That's why the ProVaris last so long with no issues? Then I guess they know their biz!

Lets let the usage reports speak for themselves when the product has infact been used.
