well at least they won't be stuck in just a tube mod anymore :)

I was thinking about how the battery change occurs and the gears on the bottom. It is possible there is a radius catch. When you turn the gears one way it loosens the catch and turns the catch. Turn the gears the other way and it sets the catch and tightens the bottom down. If you look back at the picture of the bottom there is a radius at the spot of the gears. Just a thought.

Happy Sunday afternoon Radius Peeps. :) Just catching up on the latest since last night.

Oh..sorry about that..somehow I thought you had a 510 Kabuki and was wondering if it would fit on a P3 :)..that's why I said the P3 does come with a 510 adapter..LOL
No worries...kind of figured that was what happened. ;)

There is no mention of nothin' on Thailandvapers!
The same one you're on, with the same username :)
The only info that's been posted thus far on TV about the Radius is the official info from Vape360 in this thread.

I never charge my SXmini through the USB port. I prefer changing batteries. I don't think I will make an exception with the Radius either. USB ports in general are susceptible to getting screwed up from dust or accidental liquid leakage. I do trust Provape but why take an unnecessary risk? Being in Egypt it would cost me an arm and a leg to ship my Provari back to the US and then risk the stupidity of our Customs Authority on its way back!
I'm with you. I never charge my SX Mini through the USB port either....it's too slow and the Yihi manual recommends taking the batteries out anyway. I'm sure ProVape has got this sorted but I'll probably charge externally most of the time. Don't want to inadvertently donate a Radius to TH Customs after a repair trip!

They all have flaps with a rubber grommet sealing the port also...
Not all of them. There is a special coating that "water proofs" electronics....one you can have applied to just about anything.

Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping

I would vote you get a black, red, and blue to start, then a white in the near future :)

Monday we are going to talk about the bottom plate, and connections.

The USB port, we have done a lot of things to secure that section and make it very robust. [emoji106]

And your last question about hammy - Hold your Radius on its back to look at the belly area.

You can cup your hand over your Radius and gently turn it over or hold the Radius by the scruff. Holding the Radius in a slightly upright position will help you determine the type, but you will have to wait about 4 weeks after you get it before performing these steps.

As much as I would love to be the proud owner of 3, then 4 of the new Radiuses's...(what IS the plural anyhow?), I am a poor disabled white male that is married, which means simply buying ONE will be my Birthday, Christmas, and anniversary all in one, so, which of the three available colors will you choose for me @Vape360 ? Gotta pick one, be a man and say eeny, meany, miny, moe - count your toes and divide by seven, and please name my color?

If you wanna wus out, and if you did read every post, you'd know the color that I'm leaning towards - but these are so awesome that I will be pleased with the color you choose for me.

Online vaping "show," organized like morning radio, but full of commercials for vendors and product giveaways. Run by someone who
a) Likes Provape
b) Hates and competes with ECF
c) could go either way regarding the Radius.

I'm pretty sure the comments will depend primarily on whether or not ProVape is going to do any advertising or giveaways or anything through that forum, rather than depending on whether they're actually open-minded regarding the appeal of a mod under 100 watts.

ECF has a competitor? I had no idea.

Then I shall be the proud and pleased owner of the new Blue Radius. Thank you @Vape360 for helping me in this tough decision. Unlike others feeling anguish, stress, lack of good sleep, I simply (and politely {with a few nags}) asked you to choose for me. Problem solved~!

Can't wait either...

Oh, and the hamster warranty? You forgot that little point good Sir? And, who pays shipping, if we wish a different color hamster anyhow - this will keep me up tonight for sure!

I'm seeing this thread as a really good opportunity to hone my speed reading skills - morning all!
Re: usb - it seems to me any company that gives warranties as long as Provape (and with their reputation) makes their products with the aim of getting as few back as possible and with the confidence they are more than fit for purpose. I am sure that it will be robust and last a long while. I am not sure expecting it to be waterproof is realistic but am equally sure a bit of rain in normal use is not going to pose a problem.

You need some of these handy little things :thumb: little rubber plugs, offer some protection against water and dust. Cost next to nothing.
s-l1000.jpg

Didn't know this existed.....just ordered some from fasttech.....but they only sell them in 100 pieces...and with audio plugs too....LOL...well I guess I am stocked up on these soon. Also needed black and translucent, so 200 comming my way...for the grand total of $3,50...

.

Maybe one of the bottom buttons is for a tiny sliding door over the USB connection.
Or maybe the hammy has a pet frog telling him when it rains so hammy can close the sliding door.
Or maybe the mind reading facility does this.
