Seeing the tales of how we got here is great... one thing is for certain, whether we spent 200 bucks or 20... we're vapers now instead of smokers, and that's what really matters.

So, when can I buy a Radius, whatever it is?

hey... 360 said we would get a clue today....

IT'S TODAY! MORE HINTS!

Oh, that's not true... one of the top ProVari dealers in the country sells ProVaris to absolute beginners by doing something SO outrageous... it boggles the mind... THEY SHOW THEM TO THE CUSTOMER and tell them THIS is the best there is...

See, SOME dealers know how to actually service the needs of the customer... I know... it's crazy... but it's true.

I have sold ZNAs to starters, simply by saying the words... "Do you want to spend your money on something you'll grow in to, or grow out of?"

My first vape was a 189.00 mall kiosk 801 kit, they were all the rage 6 years ago.

As I said, it happens daily in shops that actually care about the customer.
Unbelievable...

I wanted to start with a P-2 but couldn't justify the cost. Nothing else ever worked, to get me off cigs, so why would vaping? Bought the eGo and the eGo twist with cartridges. Then got the Vivi nova. When I was cig free, a month later, that's when I set my sites on a ProVari. Stopped smoking in October, got the ProVari as a Christmas gift and haven't looked at any other device.

Went from Vivi Novas to KFL+. Haven't looked at any other tank systems. I still use the kayfun. :)

I guess I'm an outlier. I impulsively bought a Blu Starter kit at Costco instead of a carton of cigarettes, saw the potential, went online, started researching, found ECF and within a week I ordered my first Provari. I have never regretted that decision to skip the middle mods (ego twists were big then) and go to something that had a reputation of quality and reliability. Vaping that first baby as I type!

I never saw any ecigs in the stores. I wasn't looking for them or they weren't on my radar. Hubby suggested an ecig so I started googling. All of my searches kept popping up this site called E-Cigarette Forum? What the heck?! So one day I clicked on it. Then my life changed. All these terms ? What do they mean? What is that? HUH?

I just kept reading. Then I started seeing people that did quit smoking. One story in particular really touched me. The guy was struggling. His thread: the adventures of Coastie (something like that). I noticed more and more people telling their quit stories. I just kept reading and trying to figure out all the terminology. I read all about the ecigs that had problems and then Grimm Green had that Game Changer YouTube video on the Twist.

I looked it up and didn't know anything about what to put on top of the thing, so I went with the eGo starter kit and added a couple of twists. The starter kit had those (looking back on it now) nasty cartridges with the foam filler. But hey, it got me to cut my cig consumption down to 5-6 a day from a pack a day!! Woot! That was huge for me.

Then the nova came along. THAT was a game changer for me. It was like.....OHMYGAWD! This is awesome! So that's what they're talking about! After a day with that, I was a non-smoker.

That's when I knew this was going to work. So for the next few months, I lurked on all threads dealing with the ProVari. I tried to find the threads where the thing was breaking but all I found were posts about if anything was wrong, the company would fix it. (See, I already knew myself ;) )

Then the campaign for the Christmas present. BEST gift EVER!

What were you thinking? Asking because I have the DNA on order but I thought it was swappable between 1100 mah, 1300 man lipos or dual 18650
And swappable chips.

Yes the batteries are swappable, shoot everything is swappable, I'm pretty sure you have been keeping up with the updates since you have one on order. So no need to sound like a broken record, but what you just commented is all true. Reasons why I am going with the Whiteout's and not others that are out in the market.

My first ecig was free years & years ago - it was a gamucci (I think) cigalike and someone I know gave it to me - they had been given it as a sample of a 'new' cigarette alternative at some sort of trade show. I thought it was rubbish and didn't look again until my proper journey started in March 2013 - someone I knew had just got one and let me try it. I got an ego-t kit to help me cut down (and at the same time realised the reason the cigalike had seemed rubbish was because it had no charge and so actually wasn't working when it was given to me). I knew immediately that this was going to actually replace cigarettes (even now I can't quite believe how easy it was). I bought my first provari about 5 months in and although I do have other stuff I always have a provari on the go.

My first e-cig was a Volcano cigalike. Hard to find cartidges except online so I switched to an ego w/PT2 mini. it was better but not good enough to get me off of cigarettes. Spent like $80 on a SID and that got me off smokes but was cheaply made. I got to surfing the net and came across House of Hybrids and Provape. The next day and a 4 hour drive to HOH. I spent $325 got a DX650 and Zcarto. A couple days later I met a guy with a provari...I tried it and liked it been wanting to pick one up every since. Just never had the extra cash to spend on something I didnt really need, until now.

So looking back at my vaping journey.....I wouldnt have spent $325 if there was no potential to kick the smoking habit.

Kat, I don't want to argue either...

But it is a very rare occasion for a smoker to start with a ProVape device.

Most have to work up to it.

Jim

True. I had to work up to it. It was after multiple bad buys that finally got me realizing I was throwing money after money, but not getting much in return. That's how I was able to justify the cost of my first Provari P2.5 and then my P3.

OK, Everybody fess up...

Name your first mod. I'll go first...

Kanger Emow Mega, bout 80 bucks, plus juice.

I started with White Cloud Cigalikes - Kept smoking
Next in line was an ego with a leaky cartomizer - Kept smoking
Next up a Zmax Telescoping thingy - quit smoking but the thing broke in a matter of months
Got another Zmax - It too broke
Finally learned my lesson and bought a Provari and haven't looked back since

Hi everyone! I don't post very often, but would love to get in on the contest.

I quit smoking with a blu, went thru about 5 of them, moved on to ego twists, and then found ECF and provaris. I own 3 2.5's and 2 p3 gun metal zencoates. I use them with my 2 kabuki tanks, about 5 or 6 kayfun light pluses, and 1 subtank mini.

Love Provape and truly looking forward to their latest release!!

It's threads like these that really sell Provape ... I remember reading all the positive posts about the Provari when I was looking for a backup to that eVic.

The only negative comments came from ProVape bashers who went on and on about how people only bought Provaris to show how elitist they were vaping.

And none of them actually owned a Provari ... get 2 Vamos instead they are cheaper and just as good.

It was not hard to see the bashers knew nothing and the Provari owners were all saying how awesome the Provari is.

I remember the old Provari saying very well ... OK, I Get It Now :)

So true, my friend. All the money I wasted on those "just as good" devices, which clearly were not and I could have more Provari's like you!!
