IMO ... we will never see a regulated mod as durable as the Provari 2.5

the last mod vaping from this era, will be a Provari 2.5 :vapor:
And it will look just like this one...

Just a couple of guesses....
If there is a way to make a USB port indestructible, ProVape did it.
If anything were to happen to your USB port, ProVape will fix it quickly and inexpensively ....if not for free.
If ProVape didn't put a USB port on the Radius....the cries from the people could be heard from miles away.

I feel pretty confident about this device. ProVape needs to let me down before I start doubting them.
People want to be able to update at home......but complain about the port that will enable that

The only thing I ever used IQ for was to confirm that some of my batteries needed to be replaced.

There is much conversation about it on the P3 where people became obsessed with it and about what it was supposed to do. So much so that I stopped visiting that thread.

Was there information about user upgradeable firmware? I may have missed it since I slept late.
Yep..it was confirmed that we'll be able upgrade the firmware using a PC software that they will have out a few weeks after the launch

There is a small cadre of people who dip in and out of the Provari threads once in a while. They stir the pot, hang around for a few days and then scamper off to hide on another forum. There they hiss and scratch among themselves about how they will never go back to the Provari threads and then lo and behold you catch them lurking in the shadows watching for reactions (not even smart enough to be "invisible"). The Provari forum was, in the past, one of my hang-out places but with the BS in another thread preceding this one I just moved on. Don't feed the trolls and they won't spend so much time here.

I think a lot of the 'issues' revolved around using cheap or worn out batteries...

The two "cogs" are screws that hold the base on. I'm not sure how much info I'm supposed to give out. I may have already said too much. Of course, if Provape didn't want things to get out, there wouldn't have been Radii available at Vapecon.

Absotlutely. I don't think you said too much, nor do I believe zapped did either.

The one thing I do use the IQ function for is to go through my cells and check their condition. With everything cleaned and freshly lubed ( no-ox Id) :) battery terminals freshly cleaned with alcohol, and charged and rested, the IQ is invaluable in telling me which cells are good, and which ones are on their way out. I'll just take a bunch of cells into the TV room and give each one about ten minutes use and see where they come out in the IQ and cull any that are showing poor. If they show OK I mark them and just use those cells at home, good to excellent don't bother marking them. It's a pretty cool feature to have in a PV

Thank you, E-D!

...and I'll vouch for the 510 version. Such a brilliant tank - I am SO glad I didn't throw my nauti coils out.
