The Plumes of Hazard Episode 94: Provari-able Hwattage

On live now... Here:

I hate to break it to these guys but they didnt break the info on the wattage.

The following post is what all the secrecy was about in here the other night. After posting, I realized that I may have jumped the gun and taken the opportunity to explain the devices features from Vape360. I also didnt want to hurt anyone who shared this info with me at the con.

Spent a few hours tonight with a Provari Radius at Vapercon.

Let me start off by saying that I will be first in line to preorder one on Tuesday at 10am.

This is one sexy mod! And its TINY, somehow the pictures make it look bigger than it actually is. For comparison its just a tad bit smaller than a Provari Mini.

Im assuming that Provape has released its info and its okay to discuss the rest of this; if not Im sorry but I gave my word I would give an honest impression. If you want to buy my silence next time send me a tester and I'll gladly sign an N.D.A.

The battery is replaceable but its not designed for daily changing like the P2's and P3's. You could if you wanted to but it wouldnt be fast and theres REALLY no need to do so.

Its meant to be charged with the provided USB cable and built in charger and from all reports this thing is LIGHTNING fast.Someone in possession of a Radius went on to say that this its probably the smartest USB charger on the market and then mentioned something about a 20 minute charge time.

****The above sentence was obviously the alcohol talking or an exaggeration as we've since been told that the charger is 800 MaH****** and should charge a battery from completely empty to fully charged in about 3 hours.****

You can pop one 18650 battery in there and NEVER have to change it until its reaches the end of its charge cycles.

There is also no spring masquerading as a negative terminal like the P2. The negative is connected to a solid brass disk which makes contact with the bottom of the battery, and this disk is held down by a spring that is under the bottom plate. That bottom plate spreads the force exerted on the spring over a much larger area and should conceivably extend the life of the spring by quite a bit as well.

The Radius will be 40 watts (watts only, no voltage) and before anyone gets their knickers in a bunch...This is a true 40 watts......not a Chinese mod claiming and displaying 75 watts and actually outputting 32-39 watts. As such it will hit a LOT harder and a lot more consistently than a number of other mods on the market currently.

I was able to tell the difference myself by comparing the Radius side by side with another mod with the exact same juice and tank. It just hit better and even did so when I closed my eyes and had someone fire both mods for me . I ended up picking the Radius 3 out of 3.

The Radius also has boost settings and the ability to customize the color of the LED. You can change it from red to blue, to yellow, to green, to aqua, to purple, to white and even make it flash random colors when you push the fire button. You can also turn it off for stealth mode.

The ergonomics on this are OUTSTANDING. Fits the hand great, looks amazing with any tank out there and the polycarbonate grip ensures a nice strong grip without fear of dropping your mod.

I honestly didnt want to let go of the one I had and I think its gonna make a LOT of vapers out there VERY happy just like its predecessors did.

Thanks, WCJ. He saw it. ;)

Call me sheltered, but I don't know many men named Nancy. I was hoping he'd 'splain it to me.
I was playing off of the phrase "Nancy boy"..........
Not nearly as funny when explained though....my sense of humor.....be strange....yes it does ;)

Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping

Pre order from where?

40W official? or are those interweb watts? lol,,, no seriously.
I see nothing on their web site about the Radius, no actual specs, nuthin.

Provape will be releasing all the specs tomorrow. One hour after they do, you'll be able to make a pre-order at www.provape.com

Until then, you're waiting like the rest of us........
