It falls within my vaping parameters. It does suit my needs. I'm not complaining.

Is it so outrageous to want to hear the thought process from a company such as Provape as to why they have taken a device in a certain design direction that seems contrary to every other manufacturer?

I like to learn.

I've been vaping long enough to have researched batteries and basic electronics to death over the years.

We all have.... send a message to Vape360 and ask him... he (and many others) have explained it in this thread.

my first vaperversary is november 4. how awesome would it be to get the Radius delivered that day :toast:

but then again, if you're ready Provape, just send 'em. I don't mind getting the beauty a little earlier...

CONGRATULATIONS on one year smoke free! This will be a great gift to celebrate that!

Cop, we're all a little tired of the same questions being asked over and over again, I apologize if we sort of all seem weary of it, it's been a long couple of weeks with people coming in to question the wisdom of the decisions that ProVape has made with this device. It boils down to they make their decisions based on what they feel is safe, and let the chips fall where they fall.

If the Radius fits your needs, it's a wonderful device... if it fails to, it's fantastic that we're all vaping at a time where we have SO many choices available that we ALL can find something that will keep us off the smokes.

No, it's not...but there's been a lot of to & fro on this previously here...and it wasn't always all sweetness & light.

If you didn't catch Tim discussing the Radius in the Plumes of Hazard episode this past Monday, here's the YT link (because I can't recall if it's OK to post the vid). He may have touched on this...starts at 1:05:00.

There's actually a thread started a few days ago where somebody asks if they can use AA batteries in place of our lithium ion ones.

Let that sink in for a minute.

Then I want you to think about the dumbest friend you know.

Manufacturers have to design their products around people like your dumbest friend due to liability and litigation. Its as simple as that.

Thats why we have warning labels like: Do not hold the wrong end of chainsaw, never use a lit match or open flame to check fuel level, do not use while sleeping (for a hair dryer), do not drive with sun shield in place, avoid death, safety goggles recommended (for a letter opener), do not put any person in this washer, not for human consumption (for fox/bobcat urine powder) etc etc

And thats also why a lot of us old timers have been cautioning people about pushing the limits with our batteries and mods. Its an accident waiting to happen, and one that can affect ALL of us adversely.

Personally, I applaud Provape for doing the responsible thing here.

Just as well.

You ever try to get Cabernet stains out?

When I tended bar, I was employed by a French woman whose front teeth were permanently stained red from drinking wine every night.

Arghhhhh! this is driving me nuts!
It's taking every bit of my willpower to not order one, got some other priorities that are stopping me, absolutely gutted! :(

Wish I hadnt bought 3 P3's for family members this month now, but thats the way she goes! It will be worth it at christmas seeing how happy they are, alas my Radius will have to wait a bit!

Can't wait to see some pics and reviews pop up when you folks get them! I'll be ordering one with a couple of Kabuki as soon as possible.

Asked the wife if I can buy a radius. She said no. How do I do this? Just got married a month ago. :?: She says I already have two, p3 & 2.5. Buuut I don't have the newwww one!

After awhile, you end up telling the spouse that ProVape has a new mod out, rather than asking. I don't have to even mention the part about me buying one, he knows that I will. :)

lol, I have officially given up trying to read every thread, every morning as I really have got to get some work done. So - likes for every post that deserves a like, happy vapeaversary for all those who have reached a special day, happy birthday ping and CONGRATULATIONS to all those who have placed an order and are now on the last stretch. Those of you waiting for the white, to save some pennies or if you still have to persuade yourself (or others) you NEED it - I feel your pain! :thumb:

Serviceable life of the mod is important to me.

I'm not sure how that relates to the amp limit.

But again, I've no problem with the 9.5A limit. Most of my build come out at 0.6ohms, and it's not often I go over 30w, so the Radius is the first Provape mod that will work for me.

I'm delighted they have made a mod that is a little bit broader than their previous devices, and I'm sure it will be hugely successful :)
