There's actually a thread started a few days ago where somebody asks if they can use AA batteries in place of our lithium ion ones.
Let that sink in for a minute.
Then I want you to think about the dumbest friend you know.
Manufacturers have to design their products around people like your dumbest friend due to liability and litigation. Its as simple as that.
Thats why we have warning labels like: Do not hold the wrong end of chainsaw, never use a lit match or open flame to check fuel level, do not use while sleeping (for a hair dryer), do not drive with sun shield in place, avoid death, safety goggles recommended (for a letter opener), do not put any person in this washer, not for human consumption (for fox/bobcat urine powder) etc etc
And thats also why a lot of us old timers have been cautioning people about pushing the limits with our batteries and mods. Its an accident waiting to happen, and one that can affect ALL of us adversely.
Personally, I applaud Provape for doing the responsible thing here.
