Anybody wanna join me in prodding @Vape360 for some sales figures from the first 24 hours? After all, "nobody" would want to buy a 40W single 18650 box mod without TC, so I'm curious just how many nobodies there were yesterday.![]()
Zen, in your opinion is there any advantage in upgrading the battery in the Radius over what comes pre-loaded?
What a marvelous day to order a Radi!

I'm not Zen, but I have an opinion.
1) I'd get an LG HG2 if you run anything else that takes flat-tops. They are out-performing all my other batteries (Sammy 25's and VTC-5's) in terms of run-time. Especially run-time above say 3.75.
2) I would NOT assume that means it will improve run-time in a Radius. There's always been a "rumor" that the P2 chip was literally designed around the specific drain characteristics of an AW battery. If that's the case, it may well be that the Radius is somehow optimized to get the best performance out of a Samsung 25R.
3) Contrary to a prior post, I find it VERY unlikely that the Samsung battery was selected to save a $ over another battery. My guess is that it had to do with availability, consistency, and performance under testing.
So - I'd see what kind of run-time I got with the included battery, and then try something 3000 Mah (probably the LG) and see whether there was any difference. My guess is that it would be negligible, but I'd probably give it a try and see.
They recommend flat top batteries IIRC..
Do yourself a favor and grab the lg hg2. More mah.
Thanks Kat. I continue to disappoint the pension fund. Oh well.
Radius ordered. With usb charging I'll need to keep the P3 close by. As far as updates I'll have to borrow a PC.
