I'm hoping to get mine on Monday.. When ProVape announces that I, and a few lucky others, are winners on Friday they will ship out the Radius FedEx to us!!
I've got my fingers crossed!! If not I'll gladly fork out a few bucks to by one!

Hiya Notso. I'm leaning in the Ghostly direction, too.

Hey KD - That Ghost is calling my name — very unique color. I may need to get my first P3 Kabuki for a flush look or I could put my Kabuki on a pedestal. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Anybody wanna join me in prodding @Vape360 for some sales figures from the first 24 hours? After all, "nobody" would want to buy a 40W single 18650 box mod without TC, so I'm curious just how many nobodies there were yesterday.

Brain warp.. this is what I thought of!

Agreed! Me and you both... I'm holding off and trading in 'Gold for Cash!' at my pawn shop for the time being.

Very true! I sell high-end replacement windows for a living, and provape had me from the start. In fact, a week after using my first chinamade ego, I bought a 2.5.

So now that I have my radius ordered, I would like to take advantage of the p3 connector when it arrives. I have a handful of kayfun v4's but they are all 510. Does anyone know a place where I can get just the p3 bottom piece?

I've looked around online and it seems as if they are sold out, or only available from overseas, which isn't worth the shipping costs.

Any help would be appreciated!

I don't know if he would want to put that out here or anywhere really.

He might gives us, "We did really well", or something like that.

I'm not Zen, but I have an opinion.
:D

1) I'd get an LG HG2 if you run anything else that takes flat-tops. They are out-performing all my other batteries (Sammy 25's and VTC-5's) in terms of run-time. Especially run-time above say 3.75.

2) I would NOT assume that means it will improve run-time in a Radius. There's always been a "rumor" that the P2 chip was literally designed around the specific drain characteristics of an AW battery. If that's the case, it may well be that the Radius is somehow optimized to get the best performance out of a Samsung 25R.

3) Contrary to a prior post, I find it VERY unlikely that the Samsung battery was selected to save a $ over another battery. My guess is that it had to do with availability, consistency, and performance under testing.

So - I'd see what kind of run-time I got with the included battery, and then try something 3000 Mah (probably the LG) and see whether there was any difference. My guess is that it would be negligible, but I'd probably give it a try and see.

Zen, in your opinion is there any advantage in upgrading the battery in the Radius over what comes pre-loaded?

Yep, my motto's always been....."when in doubt go the Provape route!" I'm sure the Samsung will be more than adequate for my vape style and wattage levels.

Thanks Train2

They recommend flat top batteries IIRC..

You *could* use a button-top, but they might be a mm or two taller. Since there is a spring under the negative contact plate, it would ever so slightly compress the spring a little more, and over time that could lead to less negative contact pressure with the flat-top batteries. If the Radius has anything like the P3's IQ, that would effectively lower it.

That's based on what has been revealed about the way the Radius battery system works. I of course don't have one in-hand to be able to give a better answer.

Do yourself a favor and grab the lg hg2. More mah.

I use the LG HG2's with my SXmini, and couldn't believe the extra runtime I got over the Sony VTC4's I used to use with it. IIRC, the VTC4's were 2100mAh?, and the HG2's are 3000mAh, so THAT made a difference.

Thanks Kat. I continue to disappoint the pension fund. Oh well.

Radius ordered. With usb charging I'll need to keep the P3 close by. As far as updates I'll have to borrow a PC.

Uh, you couldn't push me out of ma' chair with a bulldozer! I knew you couldn't sit on the sidelines on the Radius long, if at all. Any more than I could!!

What a nice B-Day gift to yourself!! :rickroll::banana::toast:

My guess is your guess, too. I cannot imagine this choice by Provape was made to save a buckaroonie. No way.
