And stories long after.yup ... people will be posting reviews and pics here in 3-4 weeks![]()
i haz a sad. I was looking for spare O-rings and the vendor I bought my Rüzgar from is out of business. I went to the Highwind Innovative Designs fb page and 2 other of their US resellers are out of business. They didn't have many to begin with. A google only shows very few vendors have them and most are on clearance - even in other countries. Highwind hasn't posted on their fb page since March and it appears they may have gone out of business or at least are no longer distributing. They are/were a very small company anyway.
I'm not worried about spare O-rings (I was just too lazy to measure them) and, although fragile, the glass should be okay because of the sleeve (it once fell from the top of my car, landed on the drip tip on the garage floor - hard enough to pop the ProVari cap partially off - and the glass was fine), but the deck insulator and screw have me ticked. Last year sometime I asked them if if a Kayfun insulator would fit, since they look similar, and they said no. They told me to contact the vendor, but I never got around to it. While googling I found a vendor in Canada who has Rüzgar O-rings and replacement screws, but the insulators were listed as discontinued. I imagine the screws aren't proprietary and I'll bet the insulators were sourced from China, but it will be a pain to look for them. I see MacGyvering in my future. Still, I'm sad if they are really gone. They came out with nice looking dripper earlier this year and I hope it wasn't what killed them.

Er Um...If that really is your Radius, that's very exciting!
No...The thread was to count down to the reveal. It has been revealed and pre-sales have begun. Thread over...
I think that my o-rings are still okay, I will see if I can get a measurement for you,
not sure about the insulators though.

The ProVape Train...This thread will be around long after ProVape ships out the Radius ... we're just getting started here.

A protest note has been submitted by the Hamster Trade Union stating that they have every legitimate reason to linger around in this thread until they can engage in the specific activity they have been hired for. Radiuses without Hamsters and/or with substitute animals like cows etc. will not be covered by warranty.... it been hijacked so bad by carto's, kf,kfl,kflv2,kflv4, kabuki, P3, erl's, sophia, 510, atlantis, nautilus, hampsters, dogs, cats a few chickens and I believe one horse, or was it a cow,

Three to Four Weeks?!?yup ... people will be posting reviews and pics here in 3-4 weeks![]()
I Googled it for myself and found some clones. That might be a source for the orings. Or maybe other atties you have.
Three to Four Weeks?!?
Pessimist
You probably don't use it as much as I do.It's not leaking, but the top O-ring isn't as tight as it used to be, so the glass can slip down a bit too far if I don't pay attention when I'm filling it.
I'm puzzled by the insulators. They look like Kayfuns, but with a lip. I'm not sure about the Kayfuns either, in pictures some have a lip and some don't. Here is a picture of the Rüzgar insulator from the Canadian site where it's was listed as discontinued. As I said, it looks like as least some Kayfuns, but I'm wondering if the screw is the same size.
