So, if anybody is STILL on the fence... I'm going to share what the last week was like with the Radius... I'll skip the unboxing and head to the good stuff, though I will tell you that the first impression in the box is a good one, I may have said "OH WOW" when I opened it... It went from the box being opened to being in my grubby little hands in less than a second.

The first thing you'll see when you are fondling your new Radius is a little clear plastic tab by the bottom with the words "remove before use" or something equally meaningful.... You'll grab it hard, give it a tug, and like magic... About a second later....the Buttons light up... and begin changing to every color in the rainbow and possibly a few that are not, meanwhile... the ProVape Logo appears on the screen, flips over and goes away... It's pretty cool, actually.

I can assume that while the light show is happening, the Radius is taking care of important housekeeping tasks such as initializing microprocessors, looking for the presence of an atomizer of some description, having a peek at the battery condition and loading the last known settings into the processor so you can have have yourself a vape.

Plastic is a funny thing... it can look cheap and gaudy, or it can look rich and well refined... It can also be fragile. There are also advanced plastics that are tough enough to stop bullets, and Polycarbonate fits into this category. My first impression of the plastic is that this looks more like it was designed and manufactured by a high-end razor manufacturer like Merkur than looking like it was made by Fisher-Price. There's nothing cheap about it's appearance. The Polycarbonate being framed by really nicely finished glass-bead blasted Stainless steel gives the Radius a look that is considerably more refined than any of the other vaping devices on the market (Except the ZNA, of course)

The Kabuki fits like a glove, I dialed in to 11 watts, and gave it a vape... fantastic. The power up and down buttons click... the Fire switch is soft, but still tactile... it has a different type of haptic, and even in the dark your finger finds the firing button... every time. I'm familiar with the P3 menu, so I basically already knew how to use it. I guess I explored the menu on the first day, but I don't recall... But I was vaping it intuitively without thinking a whole lot about it... it just happened.

What's your routine when leaving the house with vape gear? Deciding which couple of devices to take, what attys, juice... batteries... cotton... wire... tools? Pain in the .... if you ask me... Plug and play, push and vape... it's what I want... but even my trusty ProVari 2.5 REQUIRED me to carry extra batteries when using it in a manageable size like the 350 battery configuration, and even then, I carried a device that took 18650 batteries as well... just in case I was going to be out for a while.

In the past week, I've discovered mindless vaping. I leave the house with ONE PV... ONE atty and ONE bottle of juice. How is this even possible? Well... the Radius with my Kabuki on it, vaping at a whopping 11 watts only manages to deplete the battery by about 50%, and I am awake a LOT of hours each day. Thursday AM I got up early, worked at the shop until 1:45PM... Drove to Philadelphia... THEN to Richmond... THEN stayed up late talking to friends... All with the same charge that I started with in the morning, and it COULD have lasted another day as well. I charged it that night, and the next morning was Vapercon.

People that spotted the Radius all really loved it... universally the look was accepted. And pretty much universally people questioned the power of the device, like it was all that mattered. And one by one... when people tried it... they loved it. Several people that said "not enough power" at first changed the tune to "Plenty of power for me" by the time they really played with it. It's good with people and makes friends out of enemies pretty easily. I could learn a thing or two from it, actually.

Each day, the Radius becomes more and more a part of my routine. I vape it relentlessly, charge it nightly, and really don't worry about what it's going to do when I push the button. And I have pushed that button a lot... a WHOLE lot. I am not exaggerating when I say I own over a thousand PVs... people have seen the collection... it's real... but when I say that since this has been in my possession it is the ONLY device I have used, I think that's saying a lot about the device. I love collecting PVs, but the flaws in most of them are pretty obvious. I'm hard pressed to come up with a reason to dislike the RADIUS, and so far, I can't.

for the moment, I think I've found the ultimate combination... pardon the plug, but the Radius/Kabuki combo is the best solution I've experienced for reliable, trouble free vaping. One PV... One Atty... One bottle of juice... Stick a spare glass and a coil in the glovebox. Nothing else needed. "Plug and play" meets "set it and forget it". It's as easy as smoking, but tastes better, smells less and isn't going to send me to an early grave... what's not to like?

So that's the impression after a week. I have no clue what the next week will bring, but I do believe it will be more of the same.

Anyone know if the Android (Qualcomm) Quick Charge 2.0 chargers will be ok to use with the Radius? **I'm not expecting the Radius to actually charge fast and take advantage of the quick charge... But I'm hoping that using one of these chargers (have one in my car), won't ruin or mess up the Radius. I'd think maybe @Vape360 might know something about this?

I had wondered if the ghost might be prone to picking up dirst/staining, probably a silly thought?

I do love my white fade to black P3, every time i use it i think darn you are a classy looking mod to myself. Don't do that with anything else

Fair concern. Radius would be at home type device, where I vape the most. It's certainly something to consider.. and time will tell.

Thank you sooo much for the thoughts and review! On another note, a guy I work with actually had the chance to hang/talk to you for a bit at Vapor Con and he had great things to say about the Kabuki and the Radius first hand.

Regarding taking a bottle of juice, I LOVE just having this on my Keychain at all times. I'm never without juice! I know you of course know this exists, but just reaffirming that it's wonderful to always have on my Keychain!

Thanks so much for this I have dialed my vaping style back to keeping it super simple and the Radius/Kabuki combo "Plug and play" meets "set it and forget it" sounds like the perfect combo to me!

It's good with people and makes friends out of enemies pretty easily. I could learn a thing or two from it, actually.

Each day, the Radius becomes more and more a part of my routine. I vape it relentlessly, charge it nightly, and really don't worry about what it's going to do when I push the button. And I have pushed that button a lot... a WHOLE lot. I am not exaggerating when I say I own over a thousand PVs... people have seen the collection... it's real... but when I say that since this has been in my possession it is the ONLY device I have used, I think that's saying a lot about the device. I love collecting PVs, but the flaws in most of them are pretty obvious. I'm hard pressed to come up with a reason to dislike the RADIUS, and so far, I can't.

for the moment, I think I've found the ultimate combination... pardon the plug, but the Radius/Kabuki combo is the best solution I've experienced for reliable, trouble free vaping. One PV... One Atty... One bottle of juice... Stick a spare glass and a coil in the glovebox. Nothing else needed. "Plug and play" meets "set it and forget it". It's as easy as smoking, but tastes better, smells less and isn't going to send me to an early grave... what's not to like?

So that's the impression after a week. I have no clue what the next week will bring, but I do believe it will be more of the same.
