Back when the p3 was first announced, I remember well going through all of this garbage. I was not in the "bash on provape" camp.......no, in fact I gave provape their props for making a hella good mod, but wanted that coupled with more wattage (back then 30 would have been plenty [emoji15] ). I was responded to, by some in this very thread, in all sorts of nastiness...and comments how provape will NEVER make a mod like what I was wishing for (and how DARE I wish for something from provape other then what they deem to give me, apparently). Well, now we have the radius.......what I like to think of as an "in your face" to all those provarinati who swore it wouldn't happen..that NOBODY needs that much power, so provape won't make it. And I WILL have one........someday (ahh, someday).

Yes, this thread has, for the most part, been pleasant and outright fun at times. But....there has also been a lot of unneeded/unwarranted ridicule, that truly saddens me. We should all be under the same category.........vapers. Those who get off on ridiculing others based on what vape device they are using (often a choice based on necessity and not preference) should be ashamed of themselves. What could it possibly matter to you, if someone else is using a mod from China? Sorry not everyone can be as well to do as some, and have to make mod choices carefully. Not every comment that can be taken as a negative about a mod needs to be taken personally....these things are highly subjective. You see the same thing to some extent with yihi vs evolv.......just get over it people. And let the radius be a lesson to some, never say what a company will never do....cause crow doesn't taste very good.

So you say...

I remember it maybe just a lil different.

One example of my taking offense, might be when someone says that an off-shore product is equal to or better than a ProVape product.

I could go on and on, but I won't.

My first ProVari was a v2, two and a half years ago. Our choices were more limited back then, and a low ohmed coils was 1.5Ω. There was not even an MVP then. And most of us were into carto tanks. 15W was fine for us, and none of us saw were we would be today. Encouraging others to get a ProVari seemed a much better choice than much of what else was available.

We were seen by many as a cult, so that is what we became. We made fun of ourselves in the process, and created our many fine traditions, such as bacon tacos.

Then sub ohm and high wattage box mods appeared and many strayed. Those that remained became more of a social group. Then the Radius was released. Many of us wanted this, and many moved on to other things. But we had some fun along the way. And I didn't see any disrespect for others. That was never our intent.

Mine is coming Priority - Two Day so you might be getting yours on Monday.

If yours was shipped out today, you'll very likely see it Monday. The Master's at Provape ship 2 day.
Awesome! Mine was picked up and everything

Dang! Mine says 3 day. Must be due to location or something. I am in a populated suburb, but likely just pure distance:

I really wanted TC, and I believe I said something to the effect that my small boxes mods would do the trick for me. Shortly after I said that, I had 2 iSticks die on me, and I realized that the battery life of the Cool Fire IV doesn't quite cut it for me. So I came back around to having quality mods I don't have to think about so much. And I bought one. :)

No point.....but that off shore product may indeed be better....for that persons needs, and this exemplifies my point brilliantly. So what, if someone thinks x product is better then y product? Will that lessen your opinion of it in any way?
I'm just tired of seeing all the back and forth. It does neither side any good ultimately

The Radius isn't $50, so the naysayers will still say it is overpriced, underpowered and doesn't have temp control...
Most of the naysayers wouldn't buy it for 100. They will just sit and wait for the clone to add to their collection of clone flask, rdna, and xvo. I understand being broke because I was a college student once. But don't belittle those that support the innovation of the industry. Rant over.

And this is why I don't paint all with the same brush ;)
I know provari owners who would never behave in the stereotype....but isn't the fact that it has become a stereotype an indication of how.much it happens?

I don't consider high power and power limiting which doesn't work well innovative...

Honestly, I don't think anyone really cares anymore. We continue to buy what we like, and it fine that others do the same.

I think the crux of all of this is simple. You see what you want, they see what they want. I have had a 2.5 for a long time. I have always used it everyday. I never owned a p3, it wasn't for me. I had chinese stuff driving my "higher watt needs". Since I am on my 3rd such mod, and 40 watts is pushing my high end, I was happy to be back to all provari. I never once dissed the p3, there was no need. If you came, and you bashed, you had it coming. Get what you want period! If you show up anywhere negative, you won't be well received! If you come into my house, and bash my family, God help you!!:nun:

Congrats to the winners, and thanks to Provape for the great contest!

As for all the other stuff going on here, negativity is everywhere. Smile and remember we are all here to stay off cigs. I don't care what device you use, as long as it works for you :) I'm closing in on six years and couldn't be more grateful. I have two 2.5's. and a P3 but that doesn't mean I'm anyone special or privileged, just lucky I made a good choice for me.

BE HAPPY!

Do not try to convince me that any off-shore product is better than the ProVari product in the ProVari thread.

Go to the appropriate thread and discuss said better mod there.

If I wonder about said mod, I'll go over and have a look myself.

Until then... It's called crapping on a thread, and it gets tiring!

This vaping venture sure has had it's dramatic moments -- on these threads!

Contrats to Sir Rod and Ca Ike....and the winners from Instagram and FB. Nice to be in your company. And, of course, many thanks to ProVape for the opportunity. And THANK YOU, for making the Radius.

I'm still celebrating --- taco and bacon anyone?--- LOL
