Yeah man, this was a fun night...
Bunches of people donated to USMCotaku so he could have a radius, and we went a little over the goal...
So he's going to get an additional surprise in his package when it arrives...

This is what I love about this group of people... We ARE all in this together, and we have each others back.

Some people call us fanbois and don't understand that we are loyal to each other, and we like what we like.

But I can understand why people are confused by it as well.

But think about it...

TRY telling a guy that owns a Rolex that his analog timepiece is out of date and not up with the times.

Or a Harley rider that his bike is lame old technology that NOBODY would buy because it's too expensive.

TRY telling a guy with a Mercedes that his ride is crap because it doesn't drift, or that a guy with a Bruno Magli shoes is an idiot because they are not Air Zoom Flight 95s...

They call us "elitists" and we fight back because we don't like being called names... of course we get defensive.

No more... I say no more... No more fighting back. No more getting defensive.

I accept the title elitist and I'll wear it proudly... because you know what, I'm in good company.

A guy that owns a Rolex is an elitist... I own a Rolex. I'm an elitist.

A guy that owns a Harley... Elitist. That's me.

I admit it.

A person that owns a ProVari is an elitist too... BIG time.

I can afford a PV that doesn't fall apart in a few months. Or have the paint fall off it. Elitist, yep.

Captains of Industry are elitist Gulfstream flying Rolex owning Mercedes driving Harley Riding ProVari vaping elitists.

But you do not have to be a captain of Industry to want nice things, and if you want nice things you shouldn't have to listen to some snot-nosed near-do-well tell you you're wrong for wanting nice things, just because they cannot afford, understand or justify having the finer things in life.

You're right... you never will. But don't judge me for wanting the finer things in life.

A ProVari IS one of the finer things in life. It is right in the same class as Rolex, Mercedes, Gulfstream, Bruno Magli and THOUSANDS of other luxury brands that bring the elitists of the world SO much pleasure... The sheer JOY of owning fine things is it's own reward.

And yeah, I'll admit that it's great to be in a position to be able to afford great things when I want them... I've worked HARD all of my life to be able to afford luxury, I'm not going to APOLOGIZE for it, not on your life! I am going to SPLASH in it! I'm going to stamp my feet in the puddles of success and enjoy every minute of my elitist loving life. Because I earned it.

AND SOME people will SCRAPE money together to buy the elitist lifestyle accessories because they DESIRE having fine things, and ASPIRE to being able to have them... good things come to those who wait... GREAT things come to those who GO FOR IT! If you can afford luxury, fantastic... if you can't... you'll find a way.

BUT... you have to want it first.

There are people in this thread that can barely afford such luxury, but they desire it. The yearn for it... they can TASTE it... and they eventually get it. They stop buying crap and save their money and eventually get it... and they DESERVE to be here... they earned it. It was THEIRS for the taking, and they found a way.

Those elitist snobs DARED to want something and worked hard enough to get it. WHO would judge these people for wanting more out of life?

You may want a cheap watch because you cannot afford or justify a Rolex. You may say that a Swatch tells time just as well as a Rolex... and you would be right.

But a Swatch tells time.

A Rolex tells the world who you are.

An imported box mod makes vapor... lots of it.

A ProVari tells the world who you are.

And don't you EVER forget it...

Nicely written Zen, but I don't agree with all of it. A ProVari does not tell the world who I am. In my world, outside of vaping forums, no one knows what a ProVari is. All they know is I'm a non-smoker.

Back when the p3 was first announced, I remember well going through all of this garbage. I was not in the "bash on provape" camp.......no, in fact I gave provape their props for making a hella good mod, but wanted that coupled with more wattage (back then 30 would have been plenty [emoji15] ). I was responded to, by some in this very thread, in all sorts of nastiness...and comments how provape will NEVER make a mod like what I was wishing for (and how DARE I wish for something from provape other then what they deem to give me, apparently). Well, now we have the radius.......what I like to think of as an "in your face" to all those provarinati who swore it wouldn't happen..that NOBODY needs that much power, so provape won't make it. And I WILL have one........someday (ahh, someday).

Yes, this thread has, for the most part, been pleasant and outright fun at times. But....there has also been a lot of unneeded/unwarranted ridicule, that truly saddens me. We should all be under the same category.........vapers. Those who get off on ridiculing others based on what vape device they are using (often a choice based on necessity and not preference) should be ashamed of themselves. What could it possibly matter to you, if someone else is using a mod from China? Sorry not everyone can be as well to do as some, and have to make mod choices carefully. Not every comment that can be taken as a negative about a mod needs to be taken personally....these things are highly subjective. You see the same thing to some extent with yihi vs evolv.......just get over it people. And let the radius be a lesson to some, never say what a company will never do....cause crow doesn't taste very good.

No point.....but that off shore product may indeed be better....for that persons needs, and this exemplifies my point brilliantly. So what, if someone thinks x product is better then y product? Will that lessen your opinion of it in any way?

Instead of formulating the snark whilst reading, spend a little more attention on what's being said, thanks.
I've already mentioned I WILL have one of these, one way or another. None of this is about the mod really, but about how a few posters were treated by a few other posters, and most just turn a blind eye.

I just wanted to say, in your series of posts, you were able to articulate what I could not without my emotions taking over, and me coming across like a total jagoff.

There have been a lot of mean, hurtful, and insulting things said, all because someone has vaping needs different than the collective here. I tend to believe that most here are good folks, and a few bad eggs can make the whole carton stink...and even at that, I don't think they are bad people, just people who can't see the other side. One running joke in here, that many saw as humor-- to others, it was a passive-aggressive attack against some folks who actually had a bit of knowledge. Those who saw it as an attack, saw the source being someone who had more ponies in the race than just pride in the product he owned, but someone who had financial ties to the success of the product -- no matter if the comments were skewed, or really were an attempt at humor gone awry.

But back to my point. thank you for being able to convey the core meaning that I was trying to get across a week ago (a writer I am not..but sit me in front of a computer or an oscilloscope, and I can hole my own), in that some folks could not see the consequences of their words/actions. And more importantly, thank you for your service to this country that we live in, so that I am free to not find the right words to speak my mind and sound like a real jagoff doing it

Congrats again on the new mod! And don't think for a second it was given-- by your service to our country, and by always taking the high road in here and standing up for what is right...you earned it, sir

Expected delivery date, Monday the 19th. So Sunday, I'll clean up a kabuki and put some juice in it. So I'm ready to go when the box gets dropped off at work.
May even put in a new coil, last one I put in was 4 weeks ago. I can't kill these things. Still tastes and vapes great!

I remember seeing a review, a while back, about some USA remade coils, for different clearos, and I think Nautilus was there too. Can't find the vid and can't remember the name..
