I'm not nor have I ever been a cloud chaser, but this Radius with Kabuki is just so amazing:

he, he ... the exclamation in the background is more 'telling' than the vape itself. Nice! :thumb:

Just got to try out my new Radius, I really like the button, it reminds me of the old Provari 2 I used to have. Yes, all of my succeeding mods have had a clicky button, but this button is just "comfortable" for me, like old leather or a favorite blanket. The build is nice and solid, and the thing just works. I also like that the size is almost the same as my previous ADV, the Kanger subbox Mini:

c45fIf3.jpg

My ONLY beef so far is that the button/screen position is clearly meant for firing with an index finger, and I have been a thumb-firer since the Ego days, so it's uncomfortable trying to train myself to use my trigger finger. I suppose with the poly shell I can pretend it is an M16 from my Army days, but it will definitely be an adjustment I'd rather not have to make.

Other than the previously mentioned solid build quality, I can't really comment on the Kabuki yet, because I was an idiot and filled it with a different flavor, so I can't do the Pepsi Challenge with it yet :( Definitely a change in vapor production, it's making me want to take longer draws, but even with a different liquid I can tell that the flavor is there. Also, this is out-of-the box, I need to try to dig through the Kabuki thread and figure out the allen wrench/airflow combo, which is foreign to me since my experience is all clearos and subtanks. My overall impression of the tank so far is limited, but what I can say at this point is that if I can go a week on a coil without having airhole leaks like I do on the Kanger/Innokin subtanks, I will certainly be buying another Kabuki. I just hope they keep making cotton Nautilus coils. I saw the Cisco spec coils online, but silica scares me from a health perspective, and if I read correctly that is what is used.

Congrats. I put my Radius/Kabuki in service Monday evening when I got home and I've vaped more juice through it in 5 days than anything I've ever vaped before and the coil is showing now signs of degrading. I'm with you, if I can get a full week out of one coil, that's fantastic. I figure $2/week on a coil isn't bad at all. No it's not! I spend more at Starbucks every day. Yes I do!

Just thought I'd give everyone a report on Provape's customer service.

Yes, I got the Cabernet Red and didn't like the color at all. Just seemed off from what I was expecting. I absolutely loved the Radius with its superb fit & finish and comfortable feel in the hand and I still wanted one, just not Red.

Well, I took a shot last night and started a ticket with Provape, hoping for an exchange because I didn't use it in any way except for fondling it. Not surprisingly, they emailed me back this morning, happy to accept the return and give me a store credit for buying a new Onyx Black one. They also offered to refund my credit card, but if I wanted another Radius the credit would be faster.

No problems. No hassle. A "happy to help you be satisfied" tone to their email response.

Why am I not surprised? Think you'd get that level of service out of any other vaping product company? I Don't Think So!

Yes, I am now a Provape FanBoy! And damn happy to be one. Bring on the dancin' banana!

They allowed me to do the same, I originally ordered a black one and they allowed me to return it so I could order both a black and a blue and check them both out in person to decide which one I wanted, then I could send the other one back. As long as you take care of business within 7 days of receiving the devices, they will work with you, very good company and folks to deal with!

Another dutchie...
You can order the radius from anywhere in the EU without being afraid of import duties.. (vrij verkeer van goederen)
Shipping is of course a bit higher from the rest of Europe.

But from provape resellers like e-smokerhaus.de (I got my kabuki P3 there) shipping isnt bad at eur10.
I know buying from anywhere in the EU is import duty free. I prefer to buy an expensive device like this from a Dutch shop. That makes it easier if the device breaks and I have to use the warranty.

It would be great to know if @Vape360 has tested these against sweaty hands? See how sweaty my hand is here? And right over the USB plug...

If i didn't have that plug in there, would it cause issues? Or even sometimes after washing your hands, if you don't dry completely, then grab your device, it could get a little damp.

Thoughts? Am I obsessing too much?

Yes, you're obsessing too much. A little sweat ain't gonna do nuttin to your Radius. I wouldn't even worry about the Mini USB port, to be honest. And besides, it's a Provari. If anything goes wrong, as you well know, Provape's got your back. Yes they do!

Now, just enjoy your Radius!

This is true! I guess I'm still scratching my head hoping nothing I did could have made that other one fail. Know what I mean?

I am quite sure nothing you did to your first one caused it's failure. The Lab Guys at Provape are going to have fun taking that one apart and seeing what happened. It could have been nothing more serious than a bad solder point on that specific unit.

My Cabernet arrived!! And I'm..... not sure.

First the pros:
The shape of this device is absolutely perfect. The rounded sides lets this baby slide into your hand like it was born there. I've never held a more comfortable mod.

It has "heft." It looks and feels more solid than my aluminum VaporShark, and the polycarbonate is very well done. It is neither warm nor cold to the touch and has a very solid look to it. It is by no means "plastic" in the way we normally associate quality with plastic. It looks like every damn penny of $200. The brushed steel end plates are beautifully finished with clear and deeply etched lettering.

The Radius will carry on the Provari name with grace and style.

Now for the bad:
The color.
I'm not sure I like the red. To my eyes it seems to have a purple tinge to it. No, it is not purple, but on my monitor I thought it leaned more to the brownish end of red, almost like an old time football skin.

For now the Radius sits in its box untouched as I stare at, trying to decide if its a keeper. I'm not sure it is. I will own this mod, but maybe another color would be better for me. With any luck someone will post some real world pics of the Midnight Blue, but I'm thinking maybe Black would better suit my tastes.

If I don't pull the plastic and power this sucker up, I'm hoping I can exchange it without a problem. Because even if this does go back, the device itself is spectacular and I will want another.

You can still return/exchange even if you test the device out, just make sure nothing happens to it (damage wise.)

I don't have a Radius. I don't post much here because I'm reading and watching the pics and reviews. I do, however, leave when the sniping starts. Yes, everyone's here because we're all in this together. I just think we could do a better job of being tolerant of each other. Just my 2 cents worth...

see ya @Simply Red ... as you do know, everyone is welcome in Provi Town

and, no matter how you try to spin it now ... you were trolling your ProVape hate, while hoping others would join in.

one thing you will notice though, Red ... you will never see ProVarinati venture into the Reo or SXmini threads spouting off like you do in ProVape threads :smokie:

I'm in love with my Radius. However, I'm kinda bummed out that after two days I noticed damage on the top cap. Thing is, I do not recall dropping it (I would remember, I think) and I use the silicon sleeve when I'm out and about. It looks like two cuts (one fairly deep) in the side of the top cap, and the edge is smushed in slightly (above where the cuts are). I can't imagine it came out of the factory that way after watching the Pbusardo tour. But, I'm also at a loss as to how it happened in the past two days.

And for the record, I must have dropped my satin SS P3 dozens of times, and it doesn't have a single scratch on it. Oh well.

I'll see if I can get a picture of it....my phone has a nice camera, but it's notoriously bad at macro shots.

Its one thing to go into a provari thread and talk about what you would like to see in a provape product (i did that plenty with the p3 release).....its entirely another to go into that thread to talk about "how much better x mod is", specially in an official, paid for by provape thread...that becomes trolling. Do that all you want in a user created provape fan page, its expected...but in this, and their other official pages, its completely inconsiderate to the people of provape.

I am so happy for you! After your bad luck streak of dropping two of your favorite mods, and then saving the Husky that showed up at your house....This is like your reward! Yay!

If you're obsessing to the point of your palms sweating, then yeah, it's probably too much. :)

I'm working on that... getting Custom Colored Acetal rod is no small task!

Seriously? I have over 1000 mods in my personal collection... and at last count I think I'm at 87 ProVari... I bought three 2.5s and a P3 yesterday. But who's counting?

If collecting ProVaris' is a disease, I'm Stage 5 and terminal.
I'm gonna use this post every time someone says I have too many mech mods lol.
My collection is minuscule compared to yours :D as I only have 25 mech mods.
I am however starting to venture into the world of regulated mods, for now I have 2 lol. The Radius is on my Christmas list, I'm hoping to have saved up enough by then to grab one :)
I really like the looks of the one that @USMCotaku got :)

Nah, this is just unbridled excitement oozing from his pores ever time he holds his Radius in his hands! Yes it is!
