Yes, thanks Planethead!

No need to worry about the return process for me and your Cabernet Red is on the way in the morning! If this is what it's like being among an elitist group of snobs I'm all for it.
Thanks again for the smooth transaction Scot. Tried leaving feedback but if you didn't start the thread or its not in the classies I guess that's not possible. Got the Cabernet Red Radius today, in perfect condition. Also got my Midnight Blue from Provape and a 510 Kabuki from Mt. Baker (nice vape mail day). Now both Radii have a Kabuki, I have to admit these things are pretty sweet when you don't have the time or inclination to fiddle with an rta. Hope your Black Radius gets there soon and you really should give a Kabuki a try. Thanks again, Chuck.

These are really good points. I've been "chasing the dragon" for so long though! Lol. But this Radius/Kabuki combo really is amazing. Then I throw the Kabuki on the p3 in mini more am blown away again at how tiny a very good quality vape device can be!

I hope you guys all realize, I chase the dragon too! For YEARS I have been looking for a setup that can do EXACTLY what the Radius/Kabuki can do... The ZNA/Kabuki was supposed to be the end-all for me... but the evolv board is no ProVari, and since the ProVari board is exclusive to ProVape... I went with what I could get. ZNA/Kabuki is a great vape, for sure... but the battery life, smoothness, none of it... is as good as a P3 or Radius. (ZNA sure is pretty, though) I could have made the ZNA native with the 650 battery, but I wanted it to be shorter... so.. here we are.

Radius/Kabuki... So I'm batting 500.... I can admit defeat... lol

No Stanley, I will have a Radius, as soon as White comes out.

You can bet on that!!!

Jim
I need to see one first. From what I saw on Provapes' site that white doesn't look white....more like a pale white......maybe that's why they call it ghost?

Can't argue with that.

I have nothing that comes close, without a whole lot of fussing, and to not have to think about which mod needs what, coils, wicking, etc., is priceless to me.

It's a no-brainer in the truest sense.

Buy a ProVari and a Kabuki and spend your time more profitably than constantly messing with your vape.

Saying it again, can't say it enough.

Thank You ProVape.

Thank You Zen~.

The reason your battery icon is changing in real time, is: It works like a distance gauge in a car.
Some cars will tell you how far you can drive, based on what's left in the tank, and how fast you're driving.
In the P3/Radius, the chip calculates your current power setting, the resistance of the coil, how long your hits are, and how frequently you hit it...then gives you a cute animation of how long your battery will last under those conditions.
As far as the IQ feature was/is concerned, it would tell you about the quality of the circuit you'd created with the battery and the battery cap. If the battery was internally fading, in charge or overall life, or if your threads/battery contact were dirty...well the IQ could tell there was something "less than optimal" in the circuit path and it could inform you, based on a score.

I still say it's in there somewhere.

Maybe it got out of the software corral, and self-installed itself to the Radius software.

There!

Just had a vape and it winked at me when I looked at the screen!

IQ, THE EVIL MASTERMIND!

Ohhhhhh then I may have to consider another color then. White is my thing but not if it's see thru!

It's not set in stone what it will be.

The betas appear to be translucent.

What the final product will be has not yet been revealed.

It's eating at my brain.

I still say it's (IQ) in there somewhere.

Me too... but it's not providing the user with the IQ#... it's telling the microprocessor, Because the Micro-processor can know the number and not obsess about it... it can handle the truth, and deal with it. It's unemotional, like spock... not overly emotional... like Scotty...

Example 1
Kirk: Mr. Spock... get us out of here....
Spock: Yes Captain... The IQ of the circuit is within a range that we can go to warp speed...

And they get out of there.

Example 2:
Kirk: Mr. Scott, get us out of here...
Scotty: Aye Captain, but the IQ can't take any moooor... I'm geevin it all shes goooot... The IQ is at the verge of blooooing us all to beeets... She can't take any moooooore
Kirk: Scotty.... get us out of here NOW!
Scotty: I don't think it's gonna meeeek it...

And of course... Scotty gets them out of there...

I believe IQ was in the P3 to feed info to the processor, and they decided let's give it a value so people can see it... and when people could see it, they kinda freaked a little about it.

And I believe it's still in there, providing the same feedback... but not to the user.

Yes, "Ghost," not white white, as far as we know. Vape360 said they will be posting updated pictures on the ProVape site next week.

Scotty: Aye Captain, but the IQ can't take any moooor... I'm geevin it all shes goooot...

I had the pleasure of recording William Shatner for a documentary about 20 years ago. I also had the nerve when he asked for more volume in his "cans" (headphones) to say "I'm sorry captain, I'm giving her all she's got" (with accent of course). The producer's jaw dropped in horror, there was an uncomfortable moment of silence, then he said "that was funny" and we moved on with the session.

That was almost as funny as recording Loony Tunes voices and seeing the guy who voiced Tweety. Must have been something in the air, because we all couldn't stop laughing. They took offence, and didn't return from lunch. Lost that job.

We called William Shatner "one take", because he nailed all his lines every time. A real pro.

The coffee stains on the ceiling of the studio was a good story. Bill would bring his dobermans to the recording sessions. The receptionist wasn't aware of this one day, and while getting coffee, one of them did the usual dog-....-sniff and scared the you-know-what out of her and, coffee on the ceiling.

Anyway, that was a tangent. Hollywood stories... Back to your regularly scheduled program.

So after a few days of using the radius here are my thoughts:

1. I was astonished on how lightweight and how form fitting it feels in the hand. I can't put it down lol.

2. The vape does seem to be considerably smoother than all of my devices, including my sx minis

3. While getting used to how the display reads the batteries I noticed that I can push almost a full day now on a single battery now at 27 watts.

4. The customizations on the device is awesome. From changing the LED color to adjusting the brightness I can tailor it to my preferences.

5. The boost settings are freaking sweet.

So coming from a guy who does sub ohm and like a warmer vape (could care less about blowing a hurricane worth of clouds) I can honestly say I'm officially a fan of Provape. They have done an awesome job developing this device and this has become a daily driver with my sx minis. I kind of wish it pushed at least 50 watts but that's not what it's designed to do and I'm ok with that. You build it right and you'll get a very satisfying experience. I may have won this device but if was able to try this out I would definitely have purchased one. Thanks guys for all of your help and tips. I'm officially a fan.

The legendary Mel Blanc... "Man of 1000 voices" ... I met him in the early 80s in San Francisco, yeah, he was short... round... comical in appearance and hysterical. He was the voice of a TON of the looney tunes characters, and many many more.

And a VERY nice man.
