I just checked it and lighting bolt is gone and it is fully charged![]()
Well there you go. Like I said, I charge mine while I sleep and tbh, I haven't bothered looking to see if the lightning bolt is still there when I get up and unplug.

Why such a low charge rate? Modern Li-Ion batteries can take a much higher charge rate without damaging them. My work mod is the rDNA30 which also charges at 800mah and it takes almost 4 hours to fully charge the LG HG2. This might actually make me decide not to buy the Radius. It can charge at UP TO 800MaH if the wall wart can sustain that rate.

If I had the same concerns you (and I don't), I would take the battery out and charge it in an external charger that will bake it as fast as I needed...Why such a low charge rate? I think it's my Adapter or cable is the reason mine took so longWhy such a low charge rate? Modern Li-Ion batteries can take a much higher charge rate without damaging them. On mine, the lightening bolt goes away. It takes a while before it goes away even though the icon looks like it's fully charged.I hope Provape will chime in, but I believe as long as your Radius is plugged in, even if it is fully charged, the lightning bolt will show.
I charge my Radius while I sleep, and I use (I did buy another micro-usb cable to have one at the office and one at home), an iPhone brick on the wall to charge my Radius. I'm sure it charges pretty quickly, but it stays plugged in until I get up in the morning.
So, I really need to know this important information. I hope you can help me with it. What color did everyone pick for their button?[emoji1] I'm kind of liking, Aqua.[emoji4]

No Stanley, I will have a Radius, as soon as White comes out.
You can bet on that!!!
Jim
That kind of defeats the whole purpose of having onboard charging. I don't mind it with my rDNA30 because I don't use it at home. When I get home from work I plug it in to my USB wall charger for the next day.If I had the same concerns you (and I don't), I would take the battery out and charge it in an external charger that will bake it as fast as I needed...
And/or have multiple batteries ready to go, so I wouldn't have to worry about how long the Radius takes to charge.
Why such a low charge rate?
Although this post is not ProVape centric, it is very important for all vapers, so please humor me.

CASAA National Call to Action: Tell the White House to urge FDA to re-work the deeming regulations so that life-saving vapor products can remain on the market!
Thank you.

Technology has come a long way the past years but Provape is standing still in some regards like safety. It's like the completely irgnore current tech and decided to just replace everything with their own standards. This was fine in the early days of vaping but not anymore if you ask me.ProVape is very conservative in their approach to absolutely everything safety related. But you know that already. I'm surprised they went as high as they did.

I charged from my USB port on the computer. VaporShark cable thats always worked the the Shark (love that Zip charge, 1 hour and done). Showed fully charged, no lightning bolt.I figure some people have different ways of charging their Radius, I wanted to ask how and what you are using to charge and how long it takes to charge
Today I tried a 1A wall Adapter with a USB cable that came with the Wall Adapter.
Started the charge around 8am and I just checked it, (4:50pm) the battery icon is full but still has the lighting bolt on it
So I'm guessing the USB cable for some reason is only letting it charge at 0.5A instead of 1A
Or is the Radius designed to charge at lower Amps, maybe 500mAh?
How high of Amps does the Radius charge at?
Next charge I will try the Provape USB cable with the 1A wall Adapter.
If nothing changes I have another 1A and a 2A wall Adapter I can try.
All 3 of these and the USB cables are from other mods not phones, not sure if that matters.
Really? Dang... But still ok with carry-on's?The DOT just officially banned e-cigarettes from checked baggage because most don't follow the safety protocols ProVape does. While this was a rule for most airlines anyway, now it is official, because most manufacturers don't care about safety and most vapers don't know the dangers...
